I grew up in Penfield, NY and graduated Penfield High School in 1997. I made the decision to stay in the area and earned a degree in Finance from RIT. After graduating, I went to work in Boston to pursue a career in private wealth management. A little over a year later, I hitched my wagon to the wrong star and ended up unemployed in Richmond, VA. It wasn't long before I landed myself a very comfortable Business Intelligence Consulting job in the Philadelphia area. By the time I had hit Philadelphia, I knew that I couldn't escape the thought of helping to pull Rochester out of it's recent decay. In the fall of 2005 I bought two multifamily houses in the South Wedge and quit my job in Philly. Since moving back to Rochester I spend most of my time working on a dot com start-up
company, rennovating my properties and selling real estate. (Insert shameless plug to be your real estate agent here ;-) I had the great fortune of being accepted to the Board for the South Wedge Planning Committee this July. For those of you unfamiliar with SWPC, they are a model organization for fostering sustainable community development and organizing grass-roots community initiatives. I'm not sure what denomination I am these days, but I'm certainly an
Eco-vangelist. I spend all of my free time researching sustainable resource use and building design, as well as sustainable community development.
