Destiny Family Christian Center is a church that exists to help people realize their potential to live a life of purpose, passion, power and positive change.  Bishop Richard L. Johnson founded Destiny as a ministry that would challenge every member to high standards of living; educationally, socially, morally, financially and spiritually.  Bishop Johnson along with his wife and co-pastor Adele established this ministry having been directed by God to teach freedom from legalism and meaningless traditions of men and preach the power of a meaningful relationship with God through Christ.

Come learn how to live life on top of the world. Setting high standards and goals without being judgmental and controlling is not a balance easily found in churches today.  But Destiny is different.  We aren’t a perfect church and don’t expect you to be perfect.  However, we do trust God to begin working the same process of perfecting in you that He is doing in us.  You will be different, your life will be different but for the better.  Everything can be better with Christ. Because of Christ we have access to live above and beyond the norm. 

We believe that Christ has given “new life” to all who believe in him.  Yet, we also believe that it is the responsibility of every believer to live as obedient stewards to access our Destiny of “life more abundantly”.   To live, to love, to share and be loved is a Destiny available to you, here with us.  Join us and together we will change the world.
