What do you desire? I mean, what do you truly desire deep down in your heart of hearts?
Did you know that the Desire always reveals the Design and the Designer? And the Design always reveals the Destiny!
Let's take a look at the magnificant eagle for a minute. The eagle was designed with beautiful wings and it is so well put together that it soars higher than any other bird. The eagle does not have legs and feet. It has wings. It doesn't walk, it soars. Now, here is something to think about....if our eagle didn't have the desire to soar, he would never leave his nest! Therefore, the destiny of the eagle is to soar! He acts like one who soars...he steps out in blind faith and does what he is designed to do. He doesn't get tripped up in the how's or the why's or the what if's...he just does what he is designed to do. When the Designer created the eagle, He put everything in it to be successful for that design. Then He planted a desire inside the eagle to go out and do what he was designed to do. It is his destiny!
The Desire reveals the Design reveals the Destiny...!
What is your desire??
You have been fully equipped to succeed in that desire because it is your destiny! It is in your DNA for crying out loud. It's your make up. Consider Lions. Do you think they just decided one day that they would be an animal of prey and hunt? Because they were bored with their current lifestyle? No...they were designed to hunt by the Great Designer and then He placed the desire to hunt inside them. He gave them what they needed to succeed as hunters to feed their families. They don't think about it first...they just do what they are designed to do. Just like the eagle.
I believe that God purposely designed the eagle to soar because He loves to see it soar! And the cheetah to run because He loves to watch it run! Don't you think your Daddy in Heaven loves to see you succeed in whatever He called you to do? He put you on earth to do something AWESOME...what is it??
If you are a parent, think about your kids. When they are young, isn't it so much fun to see their faces light up when they are telling you about what dreams they have and what they want to be when they grow up?! I love that! And as they go thru elementary school they receive awards for different things and couldn't your heart just burst?? Then, when they do grow up and go out and be successful in whatever they choose to do with their life, aren't we as parents full of pride as we see them succeed? If we are made in God's image, then as a Parent, doesn't it make sense that He would be just as excited if not more excited to see us, His kids, succeed in whatever He created us to do? Just something to think about...
