Grace Baptist Church

I don't know about you, but, I love watching children having a good time.  It warmed my heart to see J.D. having such a good time singing the VBS song.  I have never seen this side of him and it was wonderful.

I was driving home yesterday and saw several kids ridding their bikes; ( a sight rarly seen) that is something we don't see much of anymore.  One especially caught my eye; a little boy was driving his bike while his younger sister stood on axle bars on the back. As they rode by ( I guess he saw the smile on my face) he waved.  It just warmed my heart.

At our home group on Sunday evening all of the children were enjoying the pool as well as each other.  They were having so much fun playing with each other, splashing, squirting each other with a huge squirt gun and just all around boy stuff.

It saddens me to know most children won't even go in their yards to play.  Children are not aloud to be children most of the time.  They are to be little reflections of ourselves and act a lot older than their years.  Computers have taken over play time and television has become the babysitter instead of family time.
