I am 56 years young, a new way of looking at age. They say you are only as young as you feel or as old, not sure which, well, if you want to think about it when the Lord reigns on this earth for 1000 years and if we are with him, we are not old at all.

God is so good and He is all there is that is important to have in this old world. My husband Johnny and I have made a vow to one another that no matter what the other does in their lives, we will continue on in the Lord.

If I am alone or if he decided to stop living for God, I will continue living and dedicating my life to the Lord. He will do the same, with this kind of commitment to God I find our marriage is stronger. For only if God is first in your life can you really become one, for He, Jesus is and should always be the third cord in a marriage making your marriage strong and making you strong individually as well as together.

May God continue strengthening us as well as our children and their spouses and families.

Interests

I love talking to my children and grandchildren, I hate them being so far away. When I was young and my children were given to me from God, I felt I was on top of the world for I had two beautiful boys to love and to love me. I never thought the miles would separate us to the point that we are almost strangers and I pray for time to make this not true. For my boys and grand children are important to me and I miss them all sooooooooooo much.

Movies

Any girlie movie, Any movie with Doris Day, Clark Gable, Fred Astaire and well all the old movies are a hit with me. My sons hated them and didn't enjoy watching them. It's a guy thing.

Music

Most all Christian music, there is some I have to think about. however; if it lifts God up and glorifies Him, then I like it. All the oldies, from the 50's, 60's, not too much of the 70's, some of the 80's. I like big band music. I told you I am getting older.

Books

I love reading the Bible. I also love to read books by: T. Austin-Sparks, Seeley Kinne, Bill Britton. These were some real pioneers of the move of God during the 19th and 20th century.

Television

Grey's Anatomy ER Seventh Heaven Gilmore Girls JAG NCIS Andy Griffith OK, quit laughing I told you I am getting older and the older TV Shows only hinted at many things, and the things today, don't hint at anything, it just does... Is nothing scared anymore.
