From its establishment in early 1998, Harvest Church has been totally dependent on a supernatural guidance and assistance. Miracles are happening and many are finding a new life in Jesus. The sick are being healed, the oppressed are being set free, and broken hearts are being mended. The Kingdom of God is being demonstrated with power! God has given us a tremendous vision for expansion in the Kingdom. Our primary goal is to see Jesus Christ honored as Lord over all Jasper County, the surrounding Southeast and Deep East Texas regions, and all over the world. By preaching the Gospel to every person, the spiritual climate can be transformed as many make Jesus the Lord of their lives. You will find love, acceptance, and forgiveness at Harvest Church. Our message to all is one of healing, restoration, and hope.
Our Statement of Faith
What we Believe
We believe in one true God, eternal in his exsistence, Triune in His manifestation- Father, Son, and Holy Spirit- and that he is sovereign and absolute in His authority.
We believe the Bible, both the Old and New Testaments, in it's entirety to be given by inspiration of the Holy Spirit, infalible, authoitative, without error, as God's revealed word to man.
We believe in the complete deity of our Lord Jesus Christ and in His supernatural conception and virgin birth. We believe He lived a sinless life and died a vicarious and stoning death. We believe in His bodily resurrection, His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and His future return to this Earth in power and glory to rule and reign forever.
We believe in communion as regular observance for all believers to remember the sacrificial death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
We believe in salvation of lost sinful man by the regeneration of the Holy Spirit. We believe that each man must repent and that salvation is sovereign grace through faith in Jesus Christ as savior.
We believe that the baptism of the Holy Spirit, as evidenced in the book of Actsis given to every believer that asks, and it enables that Christian to live a holy, sanctified life of power.
We believe the bodily resurrection of the saved and the lost, the saved to everlating life, and the lost without Christ to eternal damnation.
We believe in water baptism by immersion soon after accepting Christ as personal Savior and that it is a testimony of death to sin and resurrection to a new life.
We believe in divine healing provided through the atoning blood of Jesus Christ as an inclusive portion of His passion.
We believe in the present day ascension gift ministries of the Apostle, Prophet, Evangelist, Pastor, Teacher, and the manifestation of the gifts of the Holy Spirit as supernatural phenomena.
