The purpose of this church is
- To glorify God through passionate worship.
- To see the unchurched become committed followers of Jesus Christ through the preaching of God's Word and weekly small groups.
- To see our communities transformed, families strengthened and the love of Christ lived out in the lives of God's people.
His Touch Ministries was started by ten people who were passionate about their community.They met weekly for prayer and leadership meetings and longed to see their vision come to pass. Their hearts desire was to see people that were being held in bondage by drugs, alcohol, and abuse be set free to experience the unsurpassing joy of life in Christ.
Now that vision has come to pass as we have launched our first service in the park on April 30, 2006. Our original group of ten people has more than multiplied and with our excitement and passion in Jesus Christ we plan to see many more added to this number as we train new leaders to reproduce their lives in the lives of others as well.
God has blessed us with a wonderful staff here at His Touch Ministries. We are so excited and feel very privileged that God has called us to do his work. Together we share the vision of reaching Texas City with the powerful message of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. A message so compelling that those who hear it can expect great life-changing experiences.
