Next thursday, I will go to "All-Region" and play three etudes on my french horn. They are very advanced, complicated pieces and I have been practicing very hard. I have recently gotten sick and it is really affecting my playing so I posted this blog to ask everyone to please keep me in your prayers to get well and do a great job at all-region. It's my senior year and so this competition is a very big deal. It could actually help me while applying for colleges to major in music! Thanks for your prayers!

My friend's name is Mercedes. Her mother has been diagnosed with cancer and the biopsy (or something) will show how bad or not so bad this cancer will be. I believe that God is bigger than ALL things. Pray with me that His perfect will be done in this drastic situation, pray with me that the family will pull together and pray as well, and through this all of our faith will be increased. In Jesus name I pray. I will also appreciate if you guys can possible email her offering her encouragement as well, or just letting her know that we are praying for her. Here is a video of how easily someone can be brainwashed. You may say, "Not me", but the video shows otherwise. We are instilled with the knowing that someone higher exists. Many times the absence of not knowing leaves us with a void. Many people try to fill this void by excessive drinking, shopping, sex, drug abuse, gangs, etc... when all along...this void can be filled with the love and spirit of Jesus Christ. Unaware of this fact leaves you in two places: (1) Alone (2) and susceptible to false teachings. A person can easily be misled if they are not in the Word of God or are not in God's will. The inevitable is death. Don't fall prey to Satan's schemes and be aware of your Creator. Search Him day and night, and I promise...you will find Him. God bless you and I hope this video helps. Amen
