Iglesia Misionera is a bilingual, multi-cultural church with services in English and Spanish. A unique, vibrant, and cutting-edge fellowship, Iglesia Misionera is touching the lives of people in our region and around the world with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Led by Pastors Ernesto and Alvia McKenzie, this prayer-centered ministry offers biblical teaching and principles designed to improve your relationship with God and, ultimately, the quality of your life. Our pastors believe in open fellowship with their members and make it a priority to be available for counsel and support. Our dynamic, power-packed services are filled with inspirational music, which creates an atmosphere where you can experience the fullness of God and the benefits of His love, joy, and peace.

OUR VISION

Our vision is to share the transforming message of the love of Jesus Christ in the communities where we live and take God’s life-changing message to the unreached people of the 10/40 Window.*

The vision is based on Jesus’ command to make disciples throughout the world, baptize them in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit, and teach them to obey God’s Word.

Bishop Ernesto and Pastor Alvia McKenzie have cultivated a missions-centered ministry where leaders are developed for service.

Their extraordinary commitment, integrity and passion have made a huge impact in many lives locally and around the world, particularly in the 10/40 Window.

They are devoted to building up strong, godly families; focusing on marriages and are determined to leave a legacy for future generations. They have been happily married for 28 years and have three lovely children who are actively involved in the music ministry.

DECLARATION OF FAITH

• We believe that there is only one true God, and one mediator between God and men; that is Jesus Christ, the Son of God. 1Timothy 2:5

• We believe that Jesus is the Son of God, and that He was sent to die for all men so that all men can be saved. John 3: 16

• We believe that the Bible is the Word of God and that all Scripture is given by inspiration of God. II Timothy 3:16

• We believe that there is forgiveness of sin through Jesus Christ. John 3:17

• We believe that all those who call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. Romans 10:13

*The 10/40 Window is the region on the globe located from 10 degrees to 40 degrees north of the equator, which includes Africa, the Middle East and Central Asia. Nearly 4 billion people live there, including 80 percent of the world's poorest of the poor. It is estimated that 1.6 billion of these people have never heard the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
