Just thought I'd write and let all my family here at my church know that I am dry and fine! My home was not in the flood plain but of course some of you may have heard that the hospital where I work was evacuated on Thurs. evening. We are in the process of clean up now that the water has receded. I work from home and today was the first time I could access my work. My son-in-laws business was totally flooded he managed before hand to get some things to higher ground. My brother Mike's home had water to the second floor. Pray for all of us as we start the clean up...sometimes the saddness turns to anger and frustration especially for those who don't know our Lord. Pray for our christian brother's and sister's to be the light and to show His love ....Pray as you are led...Love to all, Bonita

Today's meditation is taken from: From Revelation to Revolution by Chip Brogden
http://www.theschoolofchrist.org/articles/revolution.html "He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son" (Revelation 21:7). As we look at the promises made to those who overcome we should see that God is not establishing some new order or special group which enjoys rights and privileges not accessible to the rest of the saints. This is not the establishing of new promises, but a bringing us back to the same exceeding great and precious promises which are potentially true of everyone who is in Christ. It is not establishing a new foundation, it is calling us back to the foundation which is already laid.

Romans 15:13 May God, the source of hope, fill you completely with joy and shalom as you continue trusting, so that by the power of the Ruach HaKodesh you may overflow with hope.
2 Cor. 2: 14 But thanks be to God, who in the Messiah constantly leads us in a triumphal procession and through us spreads everywhere the fragrance of what it means to know him!

Today's meditation is taken from: All Things In Christ by Chip Brogden
http://www.theschoolofchrist.org/articles/allthings.html "Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto His glorious body, according to the working whereby He is able even to subdue all things unto Himself" (Philippians 3:21). Everything is moving back TOWARDS a Christocentric universe, so that as it was in the beginning, so it will be in the ending. Just as all things have their source and beginning in Christ, so all things will have their ending in Christ. He subdues all things, in order to gather together and reconcile all things, that He may fill all things. What a task that is! How can that be? How can all things ever be subdued, gathered together into one, reconciled, and filled by Christ? We cannot say how, but we know that "He is able". Praise God, how can we doubt Him? How can we question this Man? Do we not yet know that He is the Preeminent One? Let us bow down and thank and praise God that He is able!

To Whom Am I Sent? by Chip Brogden
http://www.theschoolofchrist.org/articles/sent.html "Now when they had gone through Phrygia and the region of Galatia, they were forbidden by the Holy Spirit to preach the word in Asia. After they had come to Mysia, they tried to go into Bithynia, but the Spirit did not permit them" (Acts 16:6,7, NKJV). Our destination, and well as our departure, must be governed by the Spirit. How intriguing that the Spirit actually forbade them to preach the word in Asia and Bithynia! This ought to be proof enough that "need", in and of itself, is insufficient guidance. The only thing that matters is being sent, and it is critical that we go only where the Spirit sends us. The apostles were indeed sent forth by the Spirit, yet that same Spirit did not permit them to just go wherever they pleased. The Spirit prevented them twice before they understood that Macedonia, not Asia or Bithynia, was the intended destination. Later we see that Paul indeed went to Asia and a tremendous work was founded. This tells us that a "no" today does not mean a "no" is forever; nevertheless, when the Spirit forbids us, we dare not take matters into our own hands and go where we have not been sent.
