In these perilous times. There so many ppl who go to church and enjoy the service and all the music and if the preacher can hoop and holla a lil bit we as ppl think that we have been filled.. there's no problem with that until we as servants don't take that which we have heard in the service and not apply it into our Daily lives. We will then be just fulfilling our emotional ecstasy. In other words we are just looking in a Mirror. Let me explain wat I'm talking about. The Book of James 1:23 say this" 23For if anyone only listens to the Word without obeying it and being a doer of it, he is like a man who looks carefully at his [own] natural face in a mirror;
And what James is talking about in this particular passage is this. We as ppl need to stop going to church and thinknig that going is all that it takes to get us into The Kingdom. It means that not only do u need to listen to the WORD OF GOD INTENTLY but you must also be DOERS of the WORD OF GOD. You can't listen and say you are going to do right but then you either do nothing or you do wrong. You can't mix oil and vinegar, you can't mix freshwater with saltwater I pray you understand what I'm saying. In other words you cannot listen on Sunday and on Saturday you disobey. You cannot listen on Thursday and on Friday you Forget what you learned in BIble Study. You cannot go and Say "Well He Knows My Heart' Commit the sin anyway and then think that you have been forgiven for acted. Yeah he knows your Heart HE Knows it aint right. I... me personally am sick and tired of ppl making excuses for sin. Listen Sin is Sin is Sin. And There No excuse for it. If he Knows Your HEart and Your Heart aint Right.Now if you are really making an effort to change then GOD will help you. But if you do it a just say what I said above and you continuosly do it. Then You Got to REpent, Then you got to get like David And Say (Psalms 51:10)10Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me. Now Don't let this message keep you from being a Fun person. Excuse my english but Didn't nobody say you couldn't have fun. But Don't Have certain fun at the expense of losing your soul hopefully you talking about. You can still be cool smooth as you wanna be . Hey Look at me . But All I'm really tryin to say is this. If you are Saved From the Penalty of Sin. Then Stop allowing the Power of Sin to rule you. And IF you are not Saved Then In your own time today. You Say To Lord I Accept you as my LORD and SAVOIR and Forgive me of all my sins. I made My mistakes But I chose on this day to live right. I Know and Believe that In Three Days you ROSE with ALL POWER in YOUR HANDS. Save me And Clean Me White as Snow. And Immediately you Shall be Saved. Become not only LISTENERS ofTHE WORD But DOERS of THE WORD. I enocurage Everybody who has a BIBLE To start reading it. 2 Timothy 2:15 15Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
P.s. After reading this Think about the BLood Transfusion you HAd when Christ Jesus Died on the Cross. Remember, Reflect, Then Thank him in own way. Even if you don't believe. Jesus of Nazareth Did Die for you.
Love To all who reads This MIT Jason N. Knight

Do we as christians really opperate in faith or do we act upon or own hearts desires and just expect god to work whatever it is out? Faith vs common sense is something i battle with day in and out and im sure everyone does what tends to happen is we look forward to ceartain situations dissolving but its normally something we got ourselves into but we expect god to work it out and conisider it faith. Then what happens is the enmy tries to get you to thinking that your faith is in vain or that god is not hearing your prayers etc... you knpw how he talks but baiscally we begin to question why are we not prospering in the mist of these storms. My advice check with god double check then tripple check with god again make sure you get confirmation. Way your options before you do anything thing think of the consequences in the long term. In my recent path this has applied to my finances however im pretty sure that it can and does apply to every aspect in life relationships, jobs, family whatever it maybe we still have to use our own thinking and stop digging wholes for and pulling others down in them with us. Just for example say you want to move in your own place and you make $1000 a month why would you go out and get a apt that cost you $950 when you haven't included gas to get back and forward food to eat and all the other utilities that are included water lights gas phone so now you begin falling behind in your finances because your borrowing money from jim joe and sue and then the car breaks down get the car fixed you catch the flu and cant work for a week so no income on next weeks check so your whole world falls down and then you say god is going to bring you out but im sure god didnt tell you to go to there in the first place. You see how this happens now there is nothing wrong with wnating nice things and palces however how and when you come across them also plays one of the biggest parts in our life and thats normally where we as christians go down the wrong road and as you can see its never like we get ourselves in these tight situations on purpose it just always turns out that way when spiritually blinded by our flesh and society. Be careful take your time get confirmation consult god consult god consult god god bless

O.K. i've had alot of stuff goin on the last few weeks and wanted to bring some questions to y'all church musicians out there... Lets cut right to the chase: What exactly is the big issue about a church musician wanting to get paid for playing? I just don't get it... Its like if a church musician tells someone that they charge to play for a service/etc., all of the sudden folk just look like they saw a ghost... What kills me is that alot of people in the church will even go as far as to lay a guilt trip on you because of the fact that you charge to play for Sunday service &/or additional services at other times of the day/week. Like if you're not doing it out of the "goodness of your heart" then you're ultimately doing a disservice to the Lord (while your gas tank sits on "E" because you live on the complete opposite side of town from your church/religious organization building &/or the site where they're having their special 4-night program is all the way on the outskirts of town)... What gets me is the fact that you have doctors, lawyers, dentists, teachers, cab drivers, cooks, waiters, waitresses, construction workers, executives, receptionists, clothing designers and so many other types of workers in this world... Even a fool would be able to tell you that none of these types of workers &/or specialists work for free, at least not in the United States of America: They provide their skills & talents for a fee so that they can A. be able to pay their bills, B. provide for themselves &/or their family & ultimately C. make a living doing what they do best.... But if you're a musician in the church, some folk just love to act like music just "happens" and it takes no kind of time/effort that should warrant any type payment/honorarium/love offering/etc. in comparison to the time/effort that those other types of workers listed above put into their craft...
So with all that said, my focus question is this: Should a musician (who is old enough to legally work in the United States of America) be expected to play for free &/or play for an extremely small amount of money just because they are providing their God-given skills & talents within the 4 walls of a church? Even when a particular "mindset" is coming from someone within the "high-ranks" of a particular church &/or religious organization, do y'all think that a persons mindset is ethical &/or fair in regards to that person believing that a church musician should agree to play for free (or play for very little) as a means of avoiding "taking advantage of the Lord"? Does anyone feel that by charging a reasonable/modest fee for services rendered as a church musician is symbolic of "taking advantage of the Lord" (especially in circumstances where the musician in question is more than aware of several musicans of a far lesser skill/experience level in other parts of the country who are receiving upwards of 3x that amount for one service on any given Sunday)? What do some of y'all kats hear as far as amounts that kats charge &/or get paid in different parts of the country & how long have those kats been playing? Have any of y'all ever been told that u charge too much or do u know someone who has been told that they charge too much? Do y'all know people that make it a habit of getting stuff in writing when it comes down to playing the role of being a church musician??? Y'all know I usually don't ask so many questions in my blogs LOL but I had a recent experience that was a true turnoff in the eyes of most paid church musicians. I don't want to go into detail because I honestly don't feel like typing it out & moreso I might offend somebody (y'all know I just HATE to do that, LOL)... But as mentioned, the situation was a true turnoff 4 me & kinda made me feel like I just got myself into a preventable situation that I shoulda just continued to avoid completely, just as I have been doing for the last "umpteen" weeks/months/years... Yea, but holla back on here &/or with some private messages, i'm interested to hear what some of y'all come up with.

We often hear the phase "That musician is anointed!". How many of us can actually define what the word anoint means? Let me help you with this one. Anoint: 1 : to smear or rub with oil or an oily substance 2 a : to apply oil to as a sacred rite especially for consecration b : to choose by or as if by divine election; also : to designate as if by a ritual.
Ah hah! Therefore, let us not confuse pretty chord changes that move the audience and cause them to shout, cry or any other type of emotion that one may see in church with the anointing of God. When one lives a consecrated lifestyle, meaning a person has set themselve apart for a sacred purpose God will then anoint that person and they will have an effective ministry. That goes for the Pastor all the way to the one who sweeps the floor. Amen!
