About Me

I feel like about me is soooo general. I never know what to say. So I guess I'll start off to saying that I'm almost 18 years old, just graduating highschool. I've lived in this place my whole life so I'm pretty excited to move onto all that college stuff. I'm pretty busy. I like being busy most of the time, but I must admit that I don't always use God's time wisely. (I'm workin' on it.) This summer I decided to become really involved in the Jr. High ministry at my church. I love it! They kinda call me the 'Game girl' because I'm really in charge of the games for the weekend services. It's a challenge. I'm also a small group leader with about anywhere from 5-12 girls. So. I went from being simply a small group leader-not extremely well-known to being a small group leader AND the Game girl. The difference in my small groups is almost amazing. Then I decided to quit Johnny Rockets (this family 50s restaurant) for the summer and begin Nannying and picking up random babysitting jobs since kids seem to be my thing. So I'll be doing that full time. I really enjoy dancing and I'm hoping to take some dance classes this summer as I've been doing since I was four years old. I also love to sing. I'm hoping to lead worship at my church some day. This coming fall I'm planning on attending Owens. I don't know how long I'll be there, but I'm so grateful because my mom's paying for my first year and, if I stay there, most likely my second as well. I'm not too sure what I want to major in. I'm thinking about psychology, but I'm sooooo interested in culture and 3rd world countries. Africa. Basically. So maybe sociology or anthropology with a minor in religion. Yeah, as you can see...I really have no idea where I'm going. I want to join the Peace Corps some day...most likely after I get my Bachelors. Then I can decide if I want to practice psychology for the rest of my life or live in Africa. Haha-two VERY different things. So, as you can see, my passion is kiiiinda people. So I guess that's just....A LOT about me. I'm always changing as I do my best to follow Christ so I suppose my about me section will as well!

Can you tell what I'm passionate about haha? Movies aren't my thing. I love to watch them, but I definately don't die to seem them.

Music

Books

One of my favorite authors is Karen Kingsbury, so anything written by her! There's also this series called the Christy Miller series. Also Christian fiction along with Karen Kingsbury books and it's her life from Jr. High through College. You can really relate to her, and because there's so many books you become attached to her character if you know what I mean.
