This things that I thought mattered--doesn't. The things I thought had to be done now--can wait. The things that I thought I needed--I don't. It makes life so much easier. Serving God, enjoying the life that He gave me. Ups and downs. Trusting in a God that has held me through many trials, stood on the mountain top with me, rejoiced with me. Still "has my back!" as a sweet "pastor in the making" remarked in his sermon. Even when I stumble and complain........ He is hope.......He is love........Praise God! 40:3 And he hath put a new song in my mouth, even praise unto our God: Many shall see it, and fear, And shall trust in Jehovah.

If you know me, you know I love music....Christian music that honors God is my favorite. And I also like to write songs...words that God places in my heart and spirit.. The words "Stand up and praise the Lord your God" stood out to me as I was reading my devotions. I read more and more and penned some praise words on paper. Okay...here's another one to add to my stack... The next day I went to the YMCA to excercise...ugh...getting on the treadmill for 35 min. gets a little boring at times...and I saw 2 Large Print Guidepost devotions laying on the counter. I asked the girl if they belonged to anyone..."nope, they are for those who would like to read them" she said. I was delighted so I propped my book up, picked out one to start. And do you know... Nehemiah 9:5-7 was the first one. God's people praised God for bringing them through the wilderness. They were praising God by recalling and reciting His acts of goodness and faithfulness through the years! Oh I need to recall all the acts of goodness, love, paitence and forgiveness in my life provided for me by my Savior and Lord.. I want to.... Stand up and praise the Lord your God, forever and ever, forever and ever. Stand up and praise the Lord you God forever and ever, forever and ever and ever. Blessed by You're glorious name, Ehalted above all blessing and praise! We will..................
Stand up and praise the Lord your God, forever and ever, forever and ever. Stand up and praise the Lord you God, forever and ever, forever and ever and ever. You alone are the Lord, the host of heaven worships You! We will.....................
Stand up and praise the Lord your God, forever and ever, forever and ever. Stand up and praise the Lord your God, forever and ever, forever and ever and ever.
Forever and ever.....and ever......and ever and ever.........!
Thank you guys for letting me share my song with you.

My older granddaughter tells me about her life--the good---and the bad. It causes my heart to break when she tells me how tough life can be. . I am thankful she shares these moments with me, good and bad. God sent her to us at age 4....big brown eyes, red dress and red ribbons in her dark shiny hair...she cuddled up to me like she knew me...my heart was wisked away with love for her...instantly! That love has grown as I watch her grow and mature into a precious 15 year old teen! I am thankful today for love of family....for this young girl who loves God...and loves Grammie [who can sometimes be overprotective!]
Happy Thanksgiving. I am truly thankful.

| Me and my little sweetie went out in the snow today. My sweetie is 4 years old, full of wonder and fun and sillyness! We walked and talked and sang and listened and played. My angel made a snow angel. . Sometimes when sorrow comes...worry lurks about...or doubt and fear try to enter my hearts door...God sends love through the eyes of a little one. His precious little one. Praise God for my blessings today.
