Yes, this is our wedding pic,--this is what the uniform looked like in 1986! Oh, Hey, It hasn't changed! only my glasses give away that this wasn't taken yesterday!
We heard on the radio, that 2008, could be a year of "new beginnings"; being "08", like the 8 members of Noah's family that got off the ark and were given a new beginning. (Without the flood, please!) Even now, we are asking God for new beginnings in our lives!!
We wanted our site to be for us as a couple, that is why our name is 2x2. So you are meeting Ken and LeeAnn Nelson. You can write either of us or both of us. We have 3 children: Kenny 21, is serving on the USS LaBoon, a Navy Destroyer, Kerrie is a junior at Letourneau U in Longview, Tx., She plays soccer and softball there. Thankfully, Kyle is still home with us, he is a 6 ft. HS senior with big baseball dreams. All 3 of them consider themselves Salvationists.
We dedicate our Player songs: 1. "Home" by Michael Buble to our son, Kenny, because we miss him. 2. "It A Great Day", to the Men at Harbor Light because Travis Tritt sings that he is having a "Great Day, neither drink or drug induced" !! 3. "When I get where I'm Going" is for our parents, who are in "Glory"! "A Letter to Me" is for our son,Kyle, and last but not least...."Be Thou My Vision" is for Kerrie who had a hard time "seeing and hitting the ball" this year!
| | Interests Our ministry is with the Houston Harbor Light, a men's Alcohol and Drug Rehab in Houston, Tx. We love the men and the ministry to them.

Thank you for your support! I'll admit that I am a little afraid.....but I'm honestly just waiting to see what God has planned for me. I'm willing to go where He wants....but I'm not positive yet if He wants me to be an officer! Still praying about it!

LeeAnn,
I love your pictures. I am not computer savy, but as soon as I can, I am going to get someone to help me load some pictures of my family. I am sorry I did not see you at Congress. Diane Johnson said she saw your husband but not you.
I went to Jacksonville, AR for a week with Diane and then she came to Pburg for a week with me. Probably won't see her for a year. We have remained best friends over the years.
Take care and put up a little prayer for Parkersburg. This is the first Sunday with our new officers.
In God's Love
Cindy Ferrell
