CSCFCS, Sunday May 3, 2009 Biker's invited to Trenton Missionary Baptist Church!

As Biker Sunday draws closer I want to thank everyone in advance for their participation. There is no way the CS's could do what is needed on our own. It is really great to be in a Church family that truly cares about people being saved. Please pray for great weather for Biker Sunday, as this will be a deciding factor on the size of the crowd coming. We have been on a couple of rides this season already, D.J., Skank, and Sunshine went to the Wayne County Ghost Riders poker run a couple of weeks ago, and to the Duplin County Ghost Riders memorial ride last weekend. We try to be a light in a dark world, and just by us being there with a Christian patch on makes the people think about God. Also by the CHRISTIAN SOLDIERS attending some of their functions they will be more inclined to attend our Biker Sunday. PREACHER MAN Now has a bike and hopefully he and LIL' MAMA will soon be in the wind with us. We now have five full patch members and two hang arounds. Please pray that we will be surrendered enough that God can use us in the battle against satan and that we will take every opportunity presented to us to for Jesus. D.J. WEST PREZ. CSCB C2

I was just browsing around the myChurch site and I looked at the side of my page and read the titles of several of my so-called 'most popular posts'. They were stacked and clipped to fit the space and they read: theres a short circuit in Angel Food Ministries at TMB.
I thought someone was teasing me because the Angel Food Ministry program had appeared to 'stall out' under my care. Two months had passed following my proclamation in church that we had been honored with approval of our application as a host site.
Since then I announced several times at church that the "start up package" from AFM had not yet arrived. I had emailed AFM and called them a couple of times with no success. I felt a bit discouraged.
Last week the package was found. It had been placed two months ago on the handicap ramp on the side of the church that no one uses (Praise God, currently we all can walk !). Some of our membership who live across the street from the church spotted it and picked it up. (The blessed building and grounds and upkeep folks).
In the meantime I had been offered assistance from another church member who was also wanting to get the ministry up and running, so without hesitation I delivered the package to her. The contents looked pretty good considering that it was just a simple cardboard box and we had had two snows and some torrential downpours over the period of two months while I waited.....
I am very thankful that help was offered and I look forward to assisting in getting food to the needy (including my family). We're not starving, but we need good food at cheap prices and that is what AFM offers.
"There's a short-circuit in Angel Food Ministries at TMB..... " maybe it's been repaired thanks to the watchful and observant eye of our neighbors and friends.
LOL
