Dear Blessed of God

Thank you for your prayers concerning Dyann’s mom's open heart surgery, Pastor Shirley Carnley.  We went to visit her yesterday and she was doing great! She has since been moved from ICU and is currently in her own room.

She shared with me from her bed about how the Lord has used a humming bird quite miraculously despite the season to let her know that God has it all under control.

When she was taken to recovery the nurses gave her a pillow, covered with humming birds.  Nobody there knew hers story but God did, she knows that despite how she would of really liked being just healed that she knows God has it under control.  

How many of you have seen that cross at the hospital illuminated at night.  You guessed it; outside of her room is that very same cross. 

Some family members were leaving her room last night because visiting hours was over; they asked if she would like the curtains drawn because the light; from the cross may be too bright to sleep. She replied, “Draw the curtains accept where the cross is, this way if she is in pain she can look at the foot of the cross.

She is doing great! Thank you for your prayers.  It is so amazing because her faith is not moved or shaken.

2 Cor. 10:3

For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh.

When our faith is challenged, when we are cut and your faith cost you some blood what promises will you hold onto?  Where will your faith move you and will you remain unshaken.

Won’t you strengthen yourself in the Lord before calamities strike.  Celebrate God today so you’re ready for whatever tomorrow.
