Hello To All My name is Rajeeyah(Full of Hope) Abdussalaam(Servant of the Peaceful God). I joined New Psalmist in July of 2000. I started coming to New Psalmist after the first Women's Conference. I would slide in on the 9:30 am service and then get to the church I was a member by 11:30 am. It got to the point that ever Sunday Bishop was preaching life into my spirit. I was not understanding what was going on but I knew that this new life thing I wanted. Now I am a proud and happy member. Through this relation with my church came a relationship with God. I love the Lord and my worship is my Praise.
In 2007 I was in search of something new to help me serve God in a better and more powerful way. God has been so great to me that I knew that He deserved my serving Him to take a step up. Leaving a ministry that I knew God had placed me in but the season had come to an end. I then became a member of the Fine Arts Ministry. I have been able to give and share a side of me that know one has seen and a Team Leader great group of members behind the scene.
I was still searching but I joined the New Ministry of Becoming a Remarkable Woman "RW". Trust me this was not what I would have planned for myself. During the Journey of "RW" I changed so much on the inside that I was awarded the 2007 Butterfly Award. Trust me it was inward growth. The RW ministry was and has so much power from God on high.
Rev. Pearson continue to let God use you as you share with other Woman on the RW journey. Bishop Thomas thank you for allowing such a ministry to take place at New Psalmist.
You ask what about the search for my serving God in a better and more powerful way...I am now a Facilitator with this years 2008 "RW". Not something I would plan for myself. Use me Lord just use me up.
