6:18 that by two immutable things, in which it is impossible for God to lie, we may have a strong encouragement, who have fled for refuge to lay hold of the hope set before us: 6:19 which we have as an anchor of the soul, `a hope' both sure and stedfast and entering into that which is within the veil; 6:20 whither as a forerunner Jesus entered for us, having become a high priest for ever after the order of Melchizedek.
That is my favorite verse of all, I'm one of those 'who have fled for refuge to lay hold of the hope...' This verse is a lot about my life - things like having a strong encouragement and the hope of glory...fleeing to Him to lay hold of the hope set before me - each of these could easily take up a page.
'entering into that which is behind the veil' This for certain is my life's cry.
So it's amazing to me to find the word 'forerunner' in the bible itself ...hopefully next Spring I'll be attending The Foreruner School of Ministry...that's been my dream and my driving force for the past five years and through that it's been an amazing ride of Him taking my nightmare-life and turning it into the Dream. He's healed me in so many different areas - my heart's the one that's hardest to explain, but past that: insomnia, sleep ceizures, night terrors, sleep paralysis, GERDS, NLD, PMDD, and athsma have all taken a knee to the Name of Jesus simply because I chose to get serious about taking a knee for Him. | | Interests -I really am goofy - the whole testimony thing is intense but outside that I'm really what I like to call a 'large child' I have an extreme childlike love of life so don't be too rambunctious around me or I'll take off.
