About Me

I am married and have three BEAUTIFUL girls!  My husband, Brian and I have been married for over 8 years. I have the joy and privilege to be a stay at home mom.  My oldest daughter, Sarah (5 yrs), is in kindergarten. She attends a Christian school and loves it. She also participates in gymnastics. She is my leader. She enjoys being the center of attention at anytime.  My middle daughter, Larissa (3 1/2 yrs), is my singing, dancing, joyful bundle. She loves dress up, playing mommy, and dancing ballet. She takes ballet as well.  My youngest, Katilynn (2 yrs) is a fireball!  She love to tackle her sisters, love playing with her baby and pushing her in the stroller. She also loves to dance and laugh!

Before children I was a school teacher for over 10 years, now I teach at home.  I am actively involved in our local church where I am the overseer of the nursery department.  I also attend life groups and have led life groups. I enjoy children and believe they are our greatest gift from God. What an awesome trust God places in us to give us precious souls to train and bring up in this world.

I am sure there is much more I could write but for now I'll stop.

Jesus replied, 'You must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your mind.' This is the first and greatest command.  --  Matthew 22:37-38 NLT Devotional -------

Many people think being a Christian means following a strict set of rules to keep you obedient. But being a real follower of God means cultivating a loving relationship with him.

But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, [even] to them that believe on his name: John 1:12

Reflection

The right to become God's own children! Halleluiah! How blessed are we who believe! To become children of God's right hand, adopted into everlasting glory, is such a wondrous act of mercy that we can only respond with praise never-ceasing! Holy, holy, holy is our Lord! Hallelujah! Rejoice!

But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption: 1 Corinthians 1:30

Reflection

God is the one who chose us from the foundation of the world. He chose us as the foolish things of the world so that, in Christ, His wisdom would be declared. Christ has become our divine wisdom, which is our righteousness, holiness, and our redemption. Though we might be of little value in the world's eyes, we are of the vastest worth in God's eyes—for it was Christ Himself who gave His life to redeem us.

Nevertheless I [am] continually with thee: thou hast holden [me] by my right hand. Thou shalt guide me with thy counsel, and afterward receive me [to] glory. Psalms 73:23-24

Reflection

My Prayer: Gracious Father, thank You for continually being present within my life! Thank You for loving me with such unconditional adoration! Make me worthy of Your wonderful devotion toward me that I may give You honour and praise. Cause me to have a passionate desire toward Your word that I may please You in all I do and say. May I desire nothing on this desolate earth but the future glory with You!

But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption: 1 Corinthians 1:30

Reflection

"All we have we have from God as the fountain, and in and through Christ as the channel of conveyance. He is made of God to us all we need, or can desire. We are foolishness, ignorant and blind in the things of God, with all our boasted knowledge; and He is made wisdom to us. We are guilty, obnoxious to justice; and He is made righteousness, our great atonement and sacrifice. We are depraved and corrupt; and He is made sanctification, the spring of our spiritual life; from him, the head, it is communicated to all the members of his mystical body by his Holy Spirit. We are in bonds, and he is made redemption to us, our Saviour and deliverer."

But without faith [it is] impossible to please [him]: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and [that] he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. Hebrews 11:6

Reflection

What is faith? It is trusting in the work of another. Therefore, we cannot please Him until we place all our trust and faith in Christ; for He is the author and finisher of our faith who will reward those who will seek His face.

But the salvation of the righteous [is] of the LORD: [he is] their strength in the time of trouble. And the LORD shall help them, and deliver them: he shall deliver them from the wicked, and save them, because they trust in him.

Reflection

In simple eloquence, the psalmist describes the beauty and strength of our Almighty God. By His graciousness, God's everlasting righteousness is our refuge during times of grave trial and tribulation. What a wonderful comfort! It is breath-taking to consider His love! He is our unrelenting rock and the deliverer of all things! Let us rejoice forever in the knowledge of Christ's saving hand and His reassuring promise of deliverance!
