Shift Ministries is a Music Outreach designed to take the message of hope to a lost and dying world. It is a family based ministry and is in its infancy stages of being developed. Shift is making plans to relocate to the Dallas/ Fort Worth Texas area within the next 6 months. Due to the upcoming changes, we are putting band plans on hold, while we receive instructions from the Lord. Meet The Band!
Tracy Kear (TK):
TK is 41 years old. He is the Visionary and Founder of Shift. TK is a man of many talents. He plays the drums, guitar, sound engineering, and Manages Shift. TK was involved in the secular music market for many years. After having a close encounter of the God kind in 1996, TK laid down his gifts to the Lord. He carried in his heart the vision of a Christian band for 9 years, as the Lord taught him His ways. In 2007, the Lord began to release a new sound of worship in TK's heart. So, TK began the search for band members, and in January 2008 Shift was formed. He is excited for the new birth of Shift Ministries in the hour. TK is married to Shannon Kear of Shift.
Shannon Kear:
Shannon Kear is 35 years old. She is also a Founder of Shift Ministries. Shannon is the lead vocalist of the band. She has been singing since she was a small child, and has competed in several vocal competitions where she has placed in the top three prize category of singers. Singing is her passion, but it is not about fame or glory for her. She loves to sing for the Lord. With her heart longing to sing for Jesus, she has been blessed with natural abilities that are God given and not necessarily learned. She is married to TK of Shift, and is in charge of the Administrations of the band.
