| Hello You who read this!| I am Amy Urena, I have been a VBFer for 5 years now. Ever since I saw the Passion of the Christ when Valley had a private screening of the movie I have attended faithfully since then. A lot of you all know my story already because I do not hide my testimony from anyone. I wear it as a battle scar. Healed wounds is all you will see. I thank the Lord for the wonderful trials that have created a level of maturity I do not believe was humanly possible for me in the state I was in before He changed me..... I am most proud at the fact that I have nothing to boast about that is of my own doing so that you can never hold me to any high, lofty unattainable standards, but that the grace and greatness of our Lord has supplied my EVERY need and has pursued me and never given up. I am His Doulous He is my Master, the Lover of my Soul, my wonderful Maker, Father, Mother, Best Friend, and more...... I am continually amazed by His love and the very Idea that it would be directed my way. You probably know the feeling?!?!
Do you really love Him? Have you fallen from the pedestal that, pre born, again we put ourselves on when we thought only of ourselves and our own? Have you made Him #1? Really think about that...... Is your mate/spouse/boyfriend/girlfriend #1 do you live and breath for them or when you say/feel that it is directed to an audience of a Heavenly God? Your children? Your Job? Yourself? Who/what do you think of most all day long?
I would really like to Challenge you to know my Daddy God, the God that has the power to give you Joy in every circumstance, The God who doesn't let you slide with just getting by, The God who can keep His Children, The God of the Bible who rules and reins over our real enemy! The God who gave us wisdom and grace for every situation we put ourselves in and find ourselves in..... I don't know where you are reading this from or how long you have known of Him without getting to know him personally in your heart, because to really KNOW him is to Love Him, If you really knew His heart you would fall in Love with Him That very concept if nurtured it effects every single other part of your life and you will find yourself shedding the layers of muck and filth built up in your heart and soul of bitterness, self righteousness, hate, offence, envy, arrogance, boastfulness, pride etc... and develop in you the fruit of the Spirit,
22But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law. Galatians 5:22-23 (New International Version)
I am just at a point in my life that I understand how short and how much time I have waisted doing nothing but worrying about surviving another day that I have chosen to make my life count for God. I want to Help in the battle against good and evil and win! We already know what kind of live awaits us why not work towards that Glorious day so that the Lord will be pleased with us?
So with that I challenge you to think about what your life has been fruitful in..... Where is your life counting and multiplying..... Where are you serving? Where are you using your talents and turning a profit on them. Matthew 25 It is Good to serve the King, It is good for everyone all the way around to serve the Lord, Good for us, Good for who is being served and it pleases the Lord. So where are you church (not just Valley) ? HOW ARE YOU SERVING?

I have a 4 year old daughter (Lana) and am going through a justifiable divorce.
Currently I am pursuing a degree in Web Design and Multimedia at Westwood College Online. If you know me you know my story, but if you don't than here is a link to a page I made about myself as an assignment at school. Movies
I have a 3 year old and we have the same taste.
I really like Movies. A lot, God uses movies to teach me about the world. I don't discriminate unless the Holy Spirit sees no fruit in me seeing something that I will not benefit from thats just me though I think. If a movie is bad I wont watch it unless I can get into the lost's mind by watching it and my flesh is not getting fed. Otherwise everything else is family friendly.
I think that it is very imperative that we still are aware of the world and are able to relate in a small way to the world. SMALL, we defiantly are a new creation and we still have people around us that we have to bring to Christ. It is good to keep up on what is going on in the world so that when we talk to them we are not speaking a foreign language (Christianese |spell check that spell checker!|) at them. I don't know that just might be me who thinks that though.
Music
I love a lot of different kinds of music.
God has raised up people from every kind of culture and changed their tongues.
Books
I haven't read Brian's book but totally want to if anyone can spare theirs for a while I would like to borrow it.
I love reading with my daughter!
Television
I never seem to find the time to watch a lot of what I used to watch anymore. I always end up finding out what is happening through someone else way after it has already happened.
