Hello Church Family,

My name is Veronica,
Some of you know me, some of you don't, I serve in The Studio at Valley Bible Bakersfield. I have been attending VBF for about 6 years now. I guess this is my story. I am born and raised in Bako, I am currently married with 4 kids. I have 6 sisters (WOW) which some of them attend VBF. You all may know them, Clara G. the socialite and Amy U. the fun and smart one! My husband is Julio who I am in love with and my 4 kids are Rayna-12, Gabriel-11, Cesar-10, and my baby Anna-8. 

 We came to know Valley from my sis Clara who was extremely pushy. At first we would laugh and tease her on her new "hobbie", then the person I cared of the most fell ill, my grandma (Mama). She was my everything, I never felt love for anyone like I did for her, not even for my children. I was a bad seed and could not believe anyone could love me unconditionally the way she did, and the thought of losing her was unbearable. The only person not to judge and the first to forgive and open the door for something so disgusting as me. I finally gave in and went to church. I didn't have anything else, thought God would fix it. The funny thing is my Grandma was hard core Catholic, I MEAN CATHOLIC! We grew up catholic and confused. But always hearing God call and having the feeling there was something more than "tradition". My sister Tita (Clara) was used to bring this family hope and peace, she is my best friend and the hardest person to get along with. I am so blessed for the life I have and the obstacles I have faced. Because of them God has made me the mother, wife, and friend I am today. Oh but don't get me wrong it was a struggle to get me to give up a lot of things, with time I gave my life to the Lord, mended a loveless marriage (thanks Pastor Hector) and put others above myself...still working on that one! I now devote the majority of my ministry time to kids church. It is such an honor to serve Him in such a way, I didn't even like kids....could barely stand my own...I love the children so much and serving has been my pleasure.

I would love it if when you are praying for others you could add my parents and inlaws to that. My dad is very ill and fighting diabetes and valley fever. Also I have a mother in law with cerosis of the liver and a father in law with dementia, heart desease, and high blood preasure.
