We are committed to creating multiple worship environments that best communicate hope to those who desire to grow in a relationship with Jesus Christ.
Our different services recognize cultural and generational diversity. We seek to use appropriate teaching, music, drama and media to communicate the timeless truths of God’s Word in a relevant way in every setting.
The Temple Service
The Temple worship service is designed to communicate the truths of God
’s Word within the historical culture of the Akron Baptist Temple.
Congregational music, preaching, choir, and weekly special music are
all designed to effectively and relevantly communicate with those with
a more traditional church background.
The Bridge Service
The Bridge service has been designed for those who have little or no
traditional church background or traditions. The music is more
contemporary, media and drama is relevantly connected to familiar
images of popular culture. Those who have given up on church find The
Bridge to be a safe place to discover and experience God’s love.
