About Me
We've been blessed since 1987 in joining Metro Church along with our two boys, Garrett and Tracy. They both met their wives and married in the same year-2005! We have 2 wonderful daughter-in-laws and Garrett and Julie have a 1 year old named Olivia. There's nothing like being a GrandParent!!  
 
Metropolitan Church started out on Columbiana Rd. in Vestavia and was pastored by Raymond F.and Peggy Culpepper and their family, Beth, Jessie and Raymond Jr. Metro has a great heritage in the Lord. Over 80 ministries were formed at Metro and Pastor Culpepper has written numerous books on Leadership, Church growth and walking in the Holy Spirit. God started Metro with 30 something charter members and now has a membership of over 2,000. God has called us to be a "Lighthouse and "A Hospital."

God has called us to work with the students especially the Jr. Highers. Since 1988 we have seen numerous teens answer the call to follow Jesus . We have had many wonderful retreats, missionary trips and lock-in/parties over the years! God has called us to build a retreat center up at Mentone, Alabama. We have secured 7 acres of land on "Little River" to build 3 cabins so students can have a "Secret Place" to meet with the Lord and also a place to build relationships.
Movies
Our favorite movies we watch every year are: Christmas Vacation, Miracle on 34th Street,It's a Wonderful Life-- Of course, Rocky! Ryan O'Neal in "Love Story"(love is NEVER having to say you're sorry!); Star Wars!(Chewy!)Raiders of the Lost Arc--New one does not hold a candle! Uncle Buck; Butch Cassidy/Sundance Kid-the bicycle scene! Joan of Arc; Little Women; Planes, trains and Automobiles-Steve Martin in anything! Braveheart of course! Meet the Parents-so true! Juno!-Love the song and messages.... and of course any Jesus movie! GOD TV!-get connected to the satillite NOW!
Books
The Bible--Book of Proverbs: Perfume and Incense bring Joy to the heart, and the pleasantness of a friend springs from their heartfelt advice, check it out in Chapter 27. John 3:9 says: I tell you the TRUTH--Unless a man is born of water and the spirit, he cannot enter the Kingdom of God. Joshua 24:15...choose this Day whom you will serve...but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord."
