Our purpose is to reach and win people to Jesus Christ, nurture them into the friendship of the church, empower them to serve in a way that touches the lives of others, and encourage growth and maturing of every believer.
Programs include weekly worship, many weekly activities, the Precious People Preschool, and programs for all ages.
We hope you will join us for any activity or for weekly worship services on Sunday mornings,

Aldersgate United Methodist church participates in the Missio Link International network, ministrying through the "Deborah House" project! Praise be to the Lord, that we might be a part of this inspirational show of God's Love! Aldersgate is also a participating member of the Interfaith Hospitality Network (IHN), and has been "host" church since 2002!! Amy Contos, Nina Lambert, Floyd and Maryanne Bell are just a few of the Aldersgate members that donate much time and effort to this great network! (We hope you and yours too will help and support IHN!! :-) Another cause that Aldersgate is involved in is the "Habitat for Humanity" foundation. Aldersgate members and their families have helped out through contributions, volunteering and supplies to this great cause! Paul Schroeder and Steve Burress are much involved in this network and do mcuh work behind the scenes, recruiting volunteers, raising money, and working on the actual build sites, in around Toledo. (Please help support "Habitat for Humanity" in your area! It's a great way to "Help thy nieghbor"! Praise be to God!) These are just a few of the examples how Aldersgate is involved in the local community and the United Methodist church, both here and abroad! I have great news from East Africa!! I recieved a letter from a Pastor David Don Double Baliruno, in TORORO, UGANDA!! His is so filled "with the LOVE of our LORD", and "the Heavenly Praise from above", I received "goosebumps" on my skin just reading his message! He is happy that many of those there have received the "word of God" into their hearts, but still prays for more help! His address is: Pastor David Don Double Baliruno P.O. Box 875 Tororo, Uganda, E. Please write him to "encourage him in the ways and wisdom of our lord", and send him your too "Love, Prayers, and Help"!!
