Hi...I'm Anita Peters and I have been been going to Valley for 4 1/2 years. I have a wonderful husband Terry who is a Plant Manager for an Engineering company down in Valencia. My family started with VBF at the Las Vegas church, and after moving to Cali (Santa Clarita) we started coming up to the the Bako church every week. Eventually this past summer we just moved to Bakersfield. My daughter-in-law (Kristin) leads worship and my son (Matthew) plays guitar for her, so I try to help out as much as possible with my two awesome grandkids (Haley & Kaeden). They are the cat's meow!! And speaking of cats, we have an awesome family pet....Louie, our Himalayan cat. Louie is my baby. Well in addition to my son Matthew, my husband and I have 4 other children, Janelle, Derek, Christopher and Kacie. But, I would say we have 6 other children, because two of our kids, Janelle and Christopher are engaged and their fiances' are like our kids already. Christopher and Sharyl have been engaged for a year and dating for over 4 years. Janelle and Scott just got engaged in the fall but have been dating for over 2 years. Derek our second oldest is showing hints of a serious relationship and our youngest Kacie, is going to be tied to a bedpost and not allowed to date until she is 30. Seriously, have you seen some of the teenage boys these days???? In addition to working full time as an Executive Recruiter, I am also a full time student at The Master's College in Santa Clarita. I am finishing up my Bachelor's degree in Org. Mgt. & Christian Ministries and will be graduating in June. Wow, I can"t wait. So what do I do in my spare time? Are you kidding...HOMEWORK!
My favorite thing to do is hang out at Starbucks with the family. Sometimes I go to just catch up on reading or emails. It's a great place to do a morning devotional. My best friend lives in North Carolina and with the time difference and my crazy schedule, it's been difficult to talk regularly. So, I am sure by now she may be disowning me as a best friend, but don't forget I love ya Jackie and I pray for you and the fam everyday. Hopefully we'll come to visit soon. Well, that's all for now, come up and introduce yourself, we'd love to meet new people at church.

Call me lame, but I also listen to all the Disney kids like Aly & AJ, Ashley Tisdale, Myley Cyrus alias Hannah Montana, The Jonas Brothers (The Jo Bros), and more...because of my 14 yr old daughter. And last but not least....Kristin Matthews. Be on the lookout for her debut album in April.

oh yeah shes fine...im kinda upset though cuz she has a viral infection on top of her disease so ya...but shes fine been going to work when she feels up to it! and thank you ur the bestest! u all are like my second family and i love it!!!!! thank you so much for being like a second mother to me anita!!!!!!! you have helped me through everything!!! even when i called up crying because of my mom!!!! love you soo much!

Hi Anita!!! How have you been!!! Thank you Haha! I love ur pic too! It looks like its from a while since you have long hair...lol yeah I agree with madi!!!!!!! About the dating thing!!!!!!!!!! Haha! My dad told me 18!!!! lol so how have you been? Is Terry feeling better?
