The artist name is Janet Cannon. A beautiful spirit and very talented artist. This drawing was based on a story poem, The Stars of Christmas, I had written. I told Janet what I wanted and how I wanted it. I finished my explanation with I wanted it to be very complex and very simple. She said I didn't ask for much. :)
This picture tells the complete Christmas story. The manger scene. The different colored stars forming a Christmas tree represent children. Then the three crosses barely noticeable finishes the Christmas story.
Amazingly she absolutely nailed the "vision". Not a christian but a very tender heart she said at times she felt "goosebumps" as she worked on it. GOD blessed her.
Sadly, I have lost touch with her. But I know GOD hasn't.
The story poem was written for my son's kindergarten class using all the children's name in it during Christmas time 2005.
Oh, and this was done by her as part of a Christmas card contest at work. I adapted my work to fit our factory setting and Janet painted the picture. We did not win the contest but I got to share Jesus with Janet and Janet got to give Jesus a wonderful present with this awesome painting.
