I heard this story today and it touched me so I wanted to share. Its a perfect example of the Holy Spirit at work. A woman I work with has a son who works out in the almond orchards. He collects all the insects and determines what pesticides they need. So yesterday he went out and did his normal routine and when he was done he got in his truck and started to drive away. But as he did he got this feeling that he had left a tool behind or for some reason needed to go back, so he backs his truck up a ways and gets out. He walks around a bit and then he hears this awful noise, like yelping and clawing sounds. He walks further into the orchard and sees a dog, hanging by its neck from a nuece that is tied to a telephone pole. The poor baby is trying to hang on to the pole for dear life. Can you imagine.....its like a nightmare. Who would do such a horrible thing. So this guy is able to cut the dog down and take him home. The lady that I work with now has the dog, he's a black lab around 10 months old. She took it to the vet this morning so he could get his shots. She lives on a beautiful piece of property with horses and lots of room to run. She assured me that Baxter (thats what she named him) is getting lots of love, which he deserves!!! I truly believe the Holy Spirit spoke to her son when he had that feeling to go back, the Lord was saying " Dont leave yet, your work's not done!"

| So I have this friend who I always have religious conversations with, and he has not yet been saved...and I'm working on him, and I know he is open to hearing what I am sharing with him, but he has soooooo many difficult questions for me. The latest is that if God is good and is all knowing, then he knew beforehand that Adam and Eve would disobey Him and eat the forbidden fruit......so why did He let it happen? And why was the forbidden fruit even there? The answer I gave him was that I didnt have a straight answer to that, but that I know God has a plan, and that Adam and Eve and their actions were part of that plan, and that you cant question Him, but only have faith, because if you question every little thing, then you miss the big stuff, the good news...that Jesus died for us and we will spend eternity in the Kingdom of Heaven!!! If anyone has anything that may help my friend to understand, I would love for you to share it....

| For some reason I feel the need to convey how much I love and appreciate my dog. Her name is Jerzi and she is an Italian Greyhound (they're miniatures)! She is one of the great blessings the Lord has brought into my life. Every living thing the Lord creates, speaks of him, has a story to tell if you just take the time to listen. For example, my little Jerzi. She is so full of the Lords spirit. Through her I am able to hear a story straight from the Lord. He is reminding me of what truly matters in life and what he hopes for all his children to find. That His love is unconditional, that He is your companion. That no matter what happens, He will be there at the end of the day to help you through the tough times and best of all He will not be angry with you. He will simply want to comfort you and listen to you, silently. He is loyal and trusting, always ready to rejoice with you in good times. He wants to be the one to walk by your side and who you turn to in confidence as a best friend. I thank the Lord for blessing me with such a companion here on earth. And that I can hear her story everyday!
