About Me

Hello there!

My name is Brandon, and I work as a wherehouse supervisor at the Las Vegas Rescue Mission. I attend VBF Las Vegas as often as possible, I love the people and atmosphere, as well as the love of Jesus that so permeates this community.

I would consider myself more of a Jesus Freak (overused?), or revolutionary, rather than a Christian.

The main Talent that God has blessed me with is music. I use this talent to glorify Jesus by involving myself in as many musical projects as possible. I currently play worship for the Las Vegas Rescue Mission about 8-10 services per week (come and check us out!).

I am glad to be part of this community, thank you.

Interests
Guitar! I love this instrument (can I get an amen?). Chopin was right when he said: "The only thing better than a guitar, is two."
Music
My musical tastes are pretty wide. If youre looking for the best worship band out there, look no further than Delirious? United is a great example of modern Christian rock, I would reccomend the to anyone. Jars of Clay is a very inspirational band who isnt afraid to get a little funky (listen to "Dead Man"). U2 was the first band I ever saw live, "The Joshua Tree" was my first album, and I still cant stop listening to them! Any aspiring guitarists out there? Take a couple lessons from Matthew Bellamy of Muse, he is automatic! Also refer to Bellamy if you want some falsetto singing tips or Romantc piano skills. Andres Segovia is the best classical guitarist ever. Period. However, John Williams (not the composer) is right up there with him, listen to the "Usher Waltz" on the Seville concert album for a stunning performance. Speaking of John Williams (the composer this time), is there anyone who cant listen to the Star Wars soundtrack without being deeply moved? And finally Dvoraks' "New World" Symphony is great to listen to before you go outside for the day. Gives you a boost of energy!
