My name is Daniel Simmons. I am a native of Asheboro, NC, but I currently reside in Charlotte, NC where I have lived since August 2004. I am married to my beautiful wife, Christina. We have been married since April 2004.
I have been a soldier in The Salvation Army since November 2004. I am currently the Assistant Divisional Music Director for The Salvation Army NC/SC Division. I'm also the bandmaster at the Charlotte Temple Corps. I'm a junior at Winthrop University where I am completing my bachelor degree in instrumental music education with K-12 certification. I play trumpet, cornet, and alto horn.
I love my job. I don't even look at it as a job, actually. I like teaching music and I like organizing musical activities for our youth and adults.
I'm a true-blue Carolina Tarheels basketball fan.... even through the rotten years. I do pull for the Carolina Panthers, even though I'm sick of seeing them blow every game, but I have faith.
I love to hang out with my friends. I could eat Nuttella every single day of the week. I'm also a real sucker for Lindt chocolate. When I order fast food, I always eat my fries first. I love to eat my wife's cooking... especially her cakes. Not only do they taste good, but they are very creative.
That's about all I can think of at the moment.
| | Television I love to watch "The Office." I think it may possibly be my favorite show of all time. I also like "Grey's Anatomy" and "Private Practice." |
