Baseline Christian Fellowship is a Christ-centered Assembly of God church and our mission is to help families in the East Valley find God, find friends and find success in their lives.

We offer the following services

Sunday School-Sunday 9am
BCF believes that coming together to study the Bible is a valuable part of the life of a church. Sunday mornings at 9:00 a.m., we offer age-graded classes for children and youth. Adults can choose from a variety of classes in which they can get acquainted and participate in discussions on a range of encouraging, God-centered topics.

Morning Worship-10:30am-12pm
On Sundays at 10:30 a.m., adults and youth meet in our main sanctuary for an uplifting worship service. We begin with music that praises God with a comfortable blend of contemporary and traditional songs, and the message will encourage, challenge and inspire you to live successfully for God.
Children age 2 through kindergarten meet in age-graded classes for praise and worship and Bible learning activities, and elementary-age children meet in the Fellowship Hall for K.I.D.S. Church, a kid-friendly service including praise and worship, a relevant message, and small group interaction.

Family Night-Wednesday 7pm
On Wednesday evenings, we offer activities and classes for the entire family. While adults meet for Bible study, kids gather for Missionettes and Royal Rangers and teens get together for
Amplified Youth

vision statement

Because we are a church that

pursues the presence of God,

lifts up the name of Jesus Christ

and welcomes the ministry of the Holy Spirit,

we passionately commit to

living for God's pleasure,

connecting with God's family,

becoming like God's Son,

serving in God's church

and sharing God's love.

what we believe

BCF, an Assemblies of God church, adheres to these non-negotiable tenets of faith. This list is derived from the official Statement of Fundamental Truths of the Assemblies of God.

  1. WE BELIEVE ...The Scriptures are Inspired by God and declare His design and plan for mankind.

  2. WE BELIEVE ...There is Only One True God–revealed in three persons...Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (commonly known as the Trinity).

  3. WE BELIEVE ...In the Deity of the Lord Jesus Christ. As God's son, Jesus was both human and divine.

  4. WE BELIEVE ...though originally good, Man Willingly Fell Into Sin–ushering evil and death, both physical and spiritual, into the world.

  5. WE BELIEVE ...Every Person Can Have Restored Fellowship with God Through 'Salvation' (accepting Christ's offer of forgiveness for sin). [1 of 4 cardinal doctrines of the A/G]

  6. WE BELIEVE ...and practice two ordinances—(1) Water Baptism by Immersion after repenting of one's sins and receiving Christ's gift of salvation, and (2) Holy Communion (the Lord's Supper) as a symbolic remembrance of Christ's suffering and death for our salvation.

  7. WE BELIEVE ...the Baptism in the Holy Spirit is a Special Experience Following Salvation that empowers believers for witnessing and effective service, just as it did in New Testament times. [1 of 4 cardinal doctrines of the A/G]

  8. WE BELIEVE ... The Initial Physical Evidence of the Baptism in the Holy Spirit is ‘Speaking in Tongues,’ as experienced on the Day of Pentecost and referenced throughout Acts and the Epistles.

  9. WE BELIEVE ...Sanctification Initially Occurs at Salvation and is not only a declaration that a believer is holy, but also a progressive lifelong process of separating from evil as believers continually draw closer to God and become more Christlike.

  10. WE BELIEVE ...The Church has a Mission to seek and save all who are lost in sin. We believe 'the Church' is the Body of Christ and consists of the people who, throughout time, have accepted God's offer of redemption (regardless of religious denomination) through the sacrificial death of His son Jesus Christ.

  11. WE BELIEVE ...A Divinely Called and Scripturally Ordained Leadership Ministry Serves the Church. The Bible teaches that each of us under leadership must commit ourselves to reach others for Christ, to worship Him with other believers, and to build up or edify the body of believers–the Church.

  12. WE BELIEVE ...Divine Healing of the Sick is a Privilege for Christians Today and is provided for in Christ's atonement (His sacrificial death on the cross for our sins). [1 of 4 cardinal doctrines of the A/G]

  13. WE BELIEVE ...in The Blessed Hope—When Jesus Raptures His Church Prior to His Return to Earth (the second coming). At this future moment in time all believers who have died will rise from their graves and will meet the Lord in the air, and Christians who are alive will be caught up with them, to be with the Lord forever. [1 of 4 cardinal doctrines of the A/G]

  14. WE BELIEVE ...in The Millennial Reign of Christ when Jesus returns with His saints at His second coming and begins His benevolent rule over earth for 1,000 years. At that time many in the nation of Israel will recognize and accept Him as the Messiah, the Savior who died for them and all mankind.

  15. WE BELIEVE ...A Final Judgment Will Take Place for those who have rejected Christ. They will be judged for their sin and consigned to eternal punishment in a punishing lake of fire.

  16. WE BELIEVE ...and look forward to the perfect New Heavens and a New Earth that Christ is preparing for all people, of all time, who have accepted Him. We will live and dwell with Him there forever following His millennial reign on Earth. 'And so shall we forever be with the Lord!'

faith at home

Baseline Christian Fellowship is proud to define itself as a Faith at Home church.  We believe that the pattern for evangelization, discipleship, fellowship, worship, and ministry laid out in Scripture is for parents to be the primary spiritual discipler of their children, with the church as their helper, equipper, and cheerleader.

While we are committed to strong ministries for children and youth, our primary goal is to equip parents with training and tools to pass their faith along to their children.  To that end, we schedule an adult Faith at Home Sunday School track every quarter to address areas such as parenting, marriage, and other issues of importance to the family.  This provides an opportunity for parents to not only learn, but to talk together and support each other in their efforts to raise godly kids.

Each week, we provide all of our families with a Family Time Activity Packet.  Each Activity Packet focuses on a single spiritual teaching, providing scriptures and activities to engage your children in a fun and spiritually profitable evening that the entire family can enjoy.  Children whose families complete the activity bring back a parent-signed sheet each week, and are rewarded with a trip to the treasure chest in K.I.D.S. Church.

BCF also offers periodic Take-It-Home Special Events during the Sunday School hour (9:00 a.m.).  Parents of children of specific ages are invited to these events as we focus through teaching and activities on a particular spiritual area appropriate for their children’s developmental stage.  Currently scheduled for 2009 are the following Take-It-Home Special Events:

March 1 for parents of preschoolers
"How to Bless your Child"

May 31 for parents of 1st & 2nd graders
"How to Have a Family Worship Time"

 August 30 for parents of 3rd & 4th graders
"How to Help Your Child Develop a Bible Study Habit"

November 1 for parents of youth
"How to Establish Computer Boundaries"

We believe that strong families make strong churches, and we invite you to join us if this sounds like what your family is looking for!

Amplified Youth

Amplified Youth Ministries is a big part of BCF's endeavor to "Major on Minors". We believe that each student is a vital part of today's church and so we provide frequent opportunities for youth in grades 7-12 to participate in worshipping God, developing friendships, and serving each other, their church, and their community.
Our goal is to equip students to be confident and empowered to live a life worthy of the death of Jesus Christ not only at their school but in their respective families as well. We believe in families and we want to see students become more active in their families as well as the church.
Amplified Youth Ministries offers various on and off campus activities designed to challenge and encourage spiritual, social, and intellectual growth. Our events are intended to help students make and strengthen friendships, reach the world around them, and to encounter the God who loves them.

Children

Welcome to Children's Ministries at BCF! Kids love it here and as you look over this site, we hope you'll see why.
The goal of our Children's Ministries is to equip kids to know, love and serve God. While we recognize that the spiritual development of children is a parental responsibility, we endeavor to support families as they work toward fulfilling this God-given obligation.
We believe that kids are a critical part of today's church and so we offer a wide variety of classes, activities and special events to help them develop spiritually, mentally, emotionally and socially into "MOGs" (Men of God) and "WOGs" (Women of God) and to have fun in the process!
