"Now there are varieties of gifts, but the same Spirit; "
1 Corinthians 12:1 Now concerning spiritual gifts, brethren, I do not want you to be uninformed.
1 Corinthians 12:2 You know that when you were heathen, you were led astray to dumb idols, however you may have been moved.
1 Corinthians 12:3 Therefore I want you to understand that no one speaking by the Spirit of God ever says "Jesus be cursed!" and no one can say "Jesus is Lord" except by the Holy Spirit.
1 Corinthians 12:4 Now there are varieties of gifts, but the same Spirit;
1 Corinthians 12:5 and there are varieties of service, but the same Lord;
1 Corinthians 12:6 and there are varieties of working, but it is the same God who inspires them all in every one.
1 Corinthians 12:7 To each is given the manifestation of the Spirit for the common good.
1 Corinthians 12:8 To one is given through the Spirit the utterance of wisdom, and to another the utterance of knowledge according to the same Spirit,
1 Corinthians 12:9 to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healing by the one Spirit,
1 Corinthians 12:10 to another the working of miracles, to another prophecy, to another the ability to distinguish between spirits, to another various kinds of tongues, to another the interpretation of tongues.
1 Corinthians 12:11 All these are inspired by one and the same Spirit, who apportions to each one individually as he wills.
1 Corinthians 12:12 For just as the body is one and has many members, and all the members of the body, though many, are one body, so it is with Christ.
1 Corinthians 12:13 For by one Spirit we were all baptized into one body--Jews or Greeks, slaves or free--and all were made to drink of one Spirit.
1 Corinthians 12:14 For the body does not consist of one member but of many.
1 Corinthians 12:15 If the foot should say, "Because I am not a hand, I do not belong to the body," that would not make it any less a part of the body.
1 Corinthians 12:16 And if the ear should say, "Because I am not an eye, I do not belong to the body," that would not make it any less a part of the body.
1 Corinthians 12:17 If the whole body were an eye, where would be the hearing? If the whole body were an ear, where would be the sense of smell?
1 Corinthians 12:18 But as it is, God arranged the organs in the body, each one of them, as he chose.
1 Corinthians 12:19 If all were a single organ, where would the body be?
1 Corinthians 12:20 As it is, there are many parts, yet one body.
1 Corinthians 12:21 The eye cannot say to the hand, "I have no need of you," nor again the head to the feet, "I have no need of you."
1 Corinthians 12:22 On the contrary, the parts of the body which seem to be weaker are indispensable,
1 Corinthians 12:23 and those parts of the body which we think less honorable we invest with the greater honor, and our unpresentable parts are treated with greater modesty,
1 Corinthians 12:24 which our more presentable parts do not require. But God has so composed the body, giving the greater honor to the inferior part,
1 Corinthians 12:25 that there may be no discord in the body, but that the members may have the same care for one another.
1 Corinthians 12:26 If one member suffers, all suffer together; if one member is honored, all rejoice together.
1 Corinthians 12:27 Now you are the body of Christ and individually members of it.
1 Corinthians 12:28 And God has appointed in the church first apostles, second prophets, third teachers, then workers of miracles, then healers, helpers, administrators, speakers in various kinds of tongues.
1 Corinthians 12:29 Are all apostles? Are all prophets? Are all teachers? Do all work miracles?
1 Corinthians 12:30 Do all possess gifts of healing? Do all speak with tongues? Do all interpret?
1 Corinthians 12:31 But earnestly desire the higher gifts. And I will show you a still more excellent way.

LORD WITHOUT YOUR LOVE TOWARDS ME I AM NOTHING. THANK YOU FOR GIFTING ME FOR YOUR GLORY. I HAVE NEVER EARNED IT AND NEVER DESERVED IT, BUT GOD, YOUR GRACE IS SUFFICIENT. I AM WEAK SO YOU CAN BE STRONG IN ME. I AM DEAD SO IT CAN BE YOU THAT LIVES IN ME. ONE SPIRIT, ONE GOD, ONE LORD. ONE LOVE.

Even the darkest times of our lives are gifts, for we grow in strength and faith of God's love and support. Home will be a beautiful place when we get there.

Gods design of creation is spectacular. That each one of us can be our individual best as well as be unified in Christ. He has a unique experience especially suited to our own hearts desire and is fullfilled by His pleasure and when His presence is invited into our lives. He is involved as much as we make room for His will to move in our situations. Getting ourselves out of the way So His perfect Holy Spirit can move freely, not only in prayer and worship, but in our daily tasks and interactions. God bless our efforts to move closer to Your plans and away from our own false vain purpose today. Lord Jesus Christ, Help us to break strongholds that keep Your Light from shining all day and night in us.

It is a glorious thing when all parts of our human body work well and work together, yes?! Well, the same is true for the "body" of Christ (all Christians). Every gift or talent we have comes from the very same place, God. So there is no reason whatsoever for us to be arrogant or boastful of what we can do for Him! The workings we do in His body the church are no more and no less important than anyone elses, He has simply chosen each one of us to manifest His glory in different ways. Some serve, some evangelise, some teach..etc. The important thing is to do whatever He has given us to do well!! :)

God is so awesome. He gives us each different gifts. Noone has to be jealous of anyone else. We are all just as important to God and our gifts matter.

I am thankful for what I am given.

Well I Thank You my awesome God!!for You create us with purpose, with distinction, with uniqueness, with heart for us to love, with brain for us not to be owerwhelm with freedom, with sight to see the greatness of Your creature, with skin to feel the gentle wind that can't be seen With nose to remember that this air is from You, and You my God give me an imperfect life for me not to forget every single blessings that You bestowed.

Therefore I want you to understand that no one speaking by the Spirit of God ever says "Jesus be cursed!" and no one can say "Jesus is Lord" except by the Holy Spirit.

"By grace are ye saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God."

This is where we get so caught up in the "name" of a religion or faith. A "name" will NOT save us, but Jesus Christ only.

WE HAVE DIFFERENTS GIFTS THAT GOD GIVES US BY THE HOLY SPIRIT FOR SERVING HIM, THE GIFTS ARE DIFFERENTS FROM ONE AN OTHER BUT COME FROM ONE MIND ....GOD....OPERATING IN ACCORDING WITH HIS WILL----

That is what I have to keep reminding myself; not everyone is 'wired' like me, or react the same way I would or would like for them to react to me.

I'd like to thank God today myself not just for his gifts but just for life in general and giving me a gift that I know I don't deserve, eternal life!

This is my first comment here but I thank God also for a Christian family that trancends color and location.

god thank you for the gifts you have blessed me with

i trust in you, Lord...

thank you to Jesus Christ for the great gifts that given in my life

*** it-2 p. 309 Manifestation ***

Manifestation of the Spirit and the Truth. After the holy spirit was poured out on Christ’s disciples, the fact of its invisible operation on these disciples was ‘manifested’ by visible evidences. Some of these were: the ability to speak in foreign tongues, gifts of healing, and discernment of inspired utterances. (1Co 12:7-10) The apostle Paul also speaks of “making the truth manifest” to others by the good conduct and preaching of Christians.—2Co 4:2.

my favorite Bible verse is Psalm 63:1 O God ,You are God; Early will I seek you; My soul thirsts for You; My flesh longs for You in a dry and thristy land Where there is no water.
