"God has revealed to us through the Spirit. For the Spirit searches everything, even the depths of God. "
1 Corinthians 2:1 When I came to you, brethren, I did not come proclaiming to you the testimony of God in lofty words or wisdom.
1 Corinthians 2:2 For I decided to know nothing among you except Jesus Christ and him crucified.
1 Corinthians 2:3 And I was with you in weakness and in much fear and trembling;
1 Corinthians 2:4 and my speech and my message were not in plausible words of wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power,
1 Corinthians 2:5 that your faith might not rest in the wisdom of men but in the power of God.
1 Corinthians 2:6 Yet among the mature we do impart wisdom, although it is not a wisdom of this age or of the rulers of this age, who are doomed to pass away.
1 Corinthians 2:7 But we impart a secret and hidden wisdom of God, which God decreed before the ages for our glorification.
1 Corinthians 2:8 None of the rulers of this age understood this; for if they had, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.
1 Corinthians 2:9 But, as it is written, "What no eye has seen, nor ear heard, nor the heart of man conceived, what God has prepared for those who love him,"
1 Corinthians 2:10 God has revealed to us through the Spirit. For the Spirit searches everything, even the depths of God.
1 Corinthians 2:11 For what person knows a man's thoughts except the spirit of the man which is in him? So also no one comprehends the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God.
1 Corinthians 2:12 Now we have received not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit which is from God, that we might understand the gifts bestowed on us by God.
1 Corinthians 2:13 And we impart this in words not taught by human wisdom but taught by the Spirit, interpreting spiritual truths to those who possess the Spirit.
1 Corinthians 2:14 The unspiritual man does not receive the gifts of the Spirit of God, for they are folly to him, and he is not able to understand them because they are spiritually discerned.
1 Corinthians 2:15 The spiritual man judges all things, but is himself to be judged by no one.
1 Corinthians 2:16 "For who has known the mind of the Lord so as to instruct him?" But we have the mind of Christ.

Now i ask........Depths of God!!! COME ON!!!....there`s always more wherever (what we get from) God comes from

1 Corinthians 2:10

God has revealed to us through the Spirit. For the Spirit searches everything, even the depths of God.

1 Corinthians 2:9

However, as it is written:
"No eye has seen,
no ear has heard,
no mind has conceived
what God has prepared for those who love him."
__________________________
I still cannot imagine all that God has in store for us, both in this life and for eternity. He will create a new heaven and a new earth (Isaiah 65:17, Revelation 21:1), and we will live with him forever.
Until then, his Holy Spirit comforts and guides us. Knowing the wonderful and eternal future that awaits us gives us hope and courage to press on in this life, to endure hardship, and to avoid giving in to temptation. This world is not all there is. The best is yet to come.

We can't do nothing without God's Spirit...

Love it! Really blessed when I take in 1 Cor 2:10-- God HAS revealed unto those who are born of His Spirit Glory to God

Amen!

Give thanks

One of my favorite verses. Even though I admired the work of Jesus, I my views remained agnostic until someone asked me if I knew Who the Holy Spirit was. Out of curiosity and a desire to thank, I asked Him (The Holy Spirit) Who He was. He provided an answer to me that very night-at that time, I did not realize it until a month later...

...I finally told my boyfriend about the experience, so he read a few versus to me from Phillipians, John, and 1 Corinthians...( including 2:10) I began to realize the significance of the Trinity. A few days later, the first time I prayed out loud to thank Him, I was filled with His Spirit- February 14th, 2009. He revealed the mysteries of God! That Jesus IS Lord! That if He could forgive me, I could forgive anyone. That His ways are not ours. And for the very first time, the concept of eternity made since to me (a mortal who could not grasp even what eternity was until He gave me an experience that I'll never forget) Each time I addressed Him, I spoke out loud, "Shammah".

Months later I found out the significance of that word, "Shammah". It's one of His names, which is found in the Torah. It means "The Lord is Here". It was so fitting for that time, because His Spirit allowed me to know He was everywhere, He was and will always be with us for all eternity. The Alpha and the Omega. My boyfriend was there with me when it happened...it was the most amazing experience we shared as a couple.

Praise you, Holy Trinity for your perfect love and what you have done in our lives! Praise you for dying on the cross...for showing us, the world, what perfect love is. Thank you Lord.
