Galatians 6:16 Peace and mercy be upon all who walk by this rule, upon the Israel of God.
Galatians 6:17 Henceforth let no man trouble me; for I bear on my body the marks of Jesus.

Why are you commenting on a verse with a verse???? How does the verse affect you? Does it speak to your current situation? And why are you putting on comments different versions of the same thing? I'm not condeming here - just asking. I know for me...this speaks to the situation with my daughter and was very applicable for me. God Bless! |

I read that verse, and what jumps out at me is the word "gently." Sadly, sometimes as christians we judge more harshly, and forgive more slowly....It is important not to be drawn astray by others, but we are still called to love others |

The key word in this verse to me is "gentlleness"....to many people use this verse to stand in judgement on others.The last sentence is crucial to what the attitude of the restorer should be. One should restore in love, humility and compassion since it could be them next time!!! |

Perhaps you wonder why your faithfulness is so important. There are plenty of others who can create a good atmosphere and make sure the others are edified. But your faithfulness in your inward life is of great significance!Try to think of yourself as a wall against the evil. If you are unfaithful, then you become a weak link in the wall, and the evil is able to get past you.Maybe you have also noticed that your tone of voice has an effect on other people. If you are full of demands, you will automatically speak in a demanding tone of voice. But if you have decided to do the good and make things fun for the others, then you will be influenced by your desire to do good.Jesus demonstrated throughout His life that it is possible to obtain power over all that is evil. All that you overcome, you gain power over. When you have overcome discouragement, the discouraging atmosphere will disappear when you are around!
For example, when you are with other people and have been victorious over gossip, demands, and other ugly vices, these things will not be able to show their heads while you are present! Just think what an effect this has on your surroundings!It is written in the Bible that Satan only comes to steal, to kill, and to destroy. (John 10:10). This is extremely serious, and we must look out for and help one another. Work so that evil things, which come from Satan, are not allowed to be where we are. Pray a lot for yourself and for others, so that everyone can be preserved. Prayer can change everything. Absolutely everything!You are very precious. Your faithfulness in your hidden life—in your heart—is of great significance!
