"So every one who acknowledges me before men, I also will acknowledge before my Father who is in heaven; "
Matthew 10:1 And he called to him his twelve disciples and gave them authority over unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal every disease and every infirmity.
Matthew 10:2 The names of the twelve apostles are these: first, Simon, who is called Peter, and Andrew his brother; James the son of Zeb'edee, and John his brother;
Matthew 10:3 Philip and Bartholomew; Thomas and Matthew the tax collector; James the son of Alphaeus, and Thaddaeus;
Matthew 10:4 Simon the Cananaean, and Judas Iscariot, who betrayed him.
Matthew 10:5 These twelve Jesus sent out, charging them, "Go nowhere among the Gentiles, and enter no town of the Samaritans,
Matthew 10:6 but go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.
Matthew 10:7 And preach as you go, saying, 'The kingdom of heaven is at hand.'
Matthew 10:8 Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse lepers, cast out demons. You received without paying, give without pay.
Matthew 10:9 Take no gold, nor silver, nor copper in your belts,
Matthew 10:10 no bag for your journey, nor two tunics, nor sandals, nor a staff; for the laborer deserves his food.
Matthew 10:11 And whatever town or village you enter, find out who is worthy in it, and stay with him until you depart.
Matthew 10:12 As you enter the house, salute it.
Matthew 10:13 And if the house is worthy, let your peace come upon it; but if it is not worthy, let your peace return to you.
Matthew 10:14 And if any one will not receive you or listen to your words, shake off the dust from your feet as you leave that house or town.
Matthew 10:15 Truly, I say to you, it shall be more tolerable on the day of judgment for the land of Sodom and Gomor'rah than for that town.
Matthew 10:16 "Behold, I send you out as sheep in the midst of wolves; so be wise as serpents and innocent as doves.
Matthew 10:17 Beware of men; for they will deliver you up to councils, and flog you in their synagogues,
Matthew 10:18 and you will be dragged before governors and kings for my sake, to bear testimony before them and the Gentiles.
Matthew 10:19 When they deliver you up, do not be anxious how you are to speak or what you are to say; for what you are to say will be given to you in that hour;
Matthew 10:20 for it is not you who speak, but the Spirit of your Father speaking through you.
Matthew 10:21 Brother will deliver up brother to death, and the father his child, and children will rise against parents and have them put to death;
Matthew 10:22 and you will be hated by all for my name's sake. But he who endures to the end will be saved.
Matthew 10:23 When they persecute you in one town, flee to the next; for truly, I say to you, you will not have gone through all the towns of Israel, before the Son of man comes.
Matthew 10:24 "A disciple is not above his teacher, nor a servant above his master;
Matthew 10:25 it is enough for the disciple to be like his teacher, and the servant like his master. If they have called the master of the house Be-el'zebul, how much more will they malign those of his household.
Matthew 10:26 "So have no fear of them; for nothing is covered that will not be revealed, or hidden that will not be known.
Matthew 10:27 What I tell you in the dark, utter in the light; and what you hear whispered, proclaim upon the housetops.
Matthew 10:28 And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul; rather fear him who can destroy both soul and body in hell.
Matthew 10:29 Are not two sparrows sold for a penny? And not one of them will fall to the ground without your Father's will.
Matthew 10:30 But even the hairs of your head are all numbered.
Matthew 10:31 Fear not, therefore; you are of more value than many sparrows.
Matthew 10:32 So every one who acknowledges me before men, I also will acknowledge before my Father who is in heaven;
Matthew 10:33 but whoever denies me before men, I also will deny before my Father who is in heaven.
Matthew 10:34 "Do not think that I have come to bring peace on earth; I have not come to bring peace, but a sword.
Matthew 10:35 For I have come to set a man against his father, and a daughter against her mother, and a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law;
Matthew 10:36 and a man's foes will be those of his own household.
Matthew 10:37 He who loves father or mother more than me is not worthy of me; and he who loves son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me;
Matthew 10:38 and he who does not take his cross and follow me is not worthy of me.
Matthew 10:39 He who finds his life will lose it, and he who loses his life for my sake will find it.
Matthew 10:40 "He who receives you receives me, and he who receives me receives him who sent me.
Matthew 10:41 He who receives a prophet because he is a prophet shall receive a prophet's reward, and he who receives a righteous man because he is a righteous man shall receive a righteous man's reward.
Matthew 10:42 And whoever gives to one of these little ones even a cup of cold water because he is a disciple, truly, I say to you, he shall not lose his reward."

Matt 7:21-23

"Not everyone who calls out to me, 'Lord! Lord!' will enter the Kingdom of Heaven. Only those who actually do the will of my Father in heaven will enter. 22 On judgment day many will say to me, 'Lord! Lord! We prophesied in your name and cast out demons in your name and performed many miracles in your name.' 23 But I will reply, 'I never knew you . Get away from me, you who break God's laws.'

Matt 7:24-27

"Anyone who listens to my teaching and follows it is wise, like a person who builds a house on solid rock. 25 Though the rain comes in torrents and the floodwaters rise and the winds beat against that house, it won't collapse because it is built on bedrock. 26 But anyone who hears my teaching and ignores it is foolish, like a person who builds a house on sand. 27 When the rains and floods come and the winds beat against that house, it will collapse with a mighty crash."

but whoever denies me before men, I also will deny befroe my Father who is in heaven. Matthew 10:33

I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ for it is the power of God unto Salvation

Do not be ashamed of the Gospel. I am not saying to go around and get in peoples faces and tell them to accept Christ or they will go to hell. As Christ works in your life in drawing you closer to Him and changing you on the inside, the outside begins to follow. Don't be afraid to share what God has done in your life. If someone asks you about your faith, do not see it as an opportunity to get another notch on your convert belt,just be real and just tell them the good things the Lord has done. It's not up to us to save anybody anyway. God does that through those who are willing to just speak His name to others.

We serve a God of love and compassion. Love cannot be forced, if it is ever forced it stops being love, and becomes rape. Each of us have been given the opportunity to serve and to honor God here and now. Those who do, shall do so eternally, as God has promised. Those who choose to deny Christ, shall also be given what God has promised, eternity seperated from Him. A compassionate God would not "drag" a non believer into His presence who had no desire to be in his presence while alive. On that last day, God will simply say..."Thy Will Be Done"

Thank you, Lord!

I will never deny you Lord. I will always acknowledge you forever.

Jesus: the only way to the Father.

Allelulia Amen ! ! !

so help me God.

publicly!!! "You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do people light a lamp and place it under a basket, but on a stand, and it gives light to the whole house. In this same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven" (Mathew 5:14-16) it is in this way that we truely acknowledge him, through our works, "for as the body apart from the spirit is dead, so also faith apart from works is dead" (james 2:26)

... And you shall be mine if you keep my words and do my will. I shall make you sit with me in the palace of my Father, and you shall never know trouble or pain, or limitations or lack. I shall be to you the Eternal Prince of Peace and my joy shall be complete in you.

Waaaah! this is soooo exciting! :)
