I used to think that this verse was a food! But when you take the time read the surrounding verses you learn that this is about recognizing that we should trust in Him who is able to supply all of our needs. Have you ever experienced the stress associated with having more bills than money? But somehow, money appeared from what seems like nowhere? Well, money showes up because God is working behind the scenes opening doors and ordering the steps of others to work on your behalf. Isn't that awesome! Just remember to thank God for the blessing and then be sure to be a blessing to someone else in return. God does not bless you just for you to be selfish. Being a blessing to someone else does not need to be financial, but giving of time and a listening ear is just as valuable. Be blessed.

Do what you know is right,even when on the outside it's screaming stop.God smiles on this odedience to his pull and will reward you even more.So be asking and expecting for it!

If we hope to spend eternity in praising God, it is fit that we should spend much of our time here in this work. He never said to any one, Seek ye me in vain. David's prayers helped to silence his fears; many besides him have looked unto the Lord by faith and prayer, and it has wonderfully revived and comforted them. When we look to the world, we are perplexed, and at a loss. But on looking to Christ depends our whole salvation, and all things needful thereunto do so also. This poor man, whom no man looked upon with any respect, or looked after with any concern, was yet welcome to the throne of grace; the Lord heard him, and saved him out of all his troubles. The holy angels minister to the saints, and stand for them against the powers of darkness. All the glory be to the Lord of the angels. By taste and sight we both make discoveries, and have enjoyment; Taste and see God's goodness; take notice of it, and take the comfort of it. He makes all truly blessed that trust in him. As to the things of the other world, they shall have grace sufficient for the support of spiritual life. And as to this life, they shall have what is necessary from the hand of God. Paul had all, and abounded, because he was content, Php 4:11-18. Those who trust to themselves, and think their own efforts sufficient for them, shall want; but they shall be fed who trust in the Lord. Those shall not want, who with quietness work, and mind their own business.

I lost my mother at the age of fourteen. I was exposed to drinking and drugs. I was angry at those who cause me pain. I was lied on by those who were very close to me. I backslided from the church because I was hurt. I almost gave up on life and myself. I can go on and on; truly I know what the Lord taste like...He taste like victory, peace, love, grace and mercy. The Lord has brought me from a mighty long ways; I am so glad that He never never never gives up on us. He is beyond good - He is life abundantly. He is my refuge!!!!

Amen Taste and see JESUS is so awesome!!!

My very favorite bible verse

My God is good, yes He is! Don't know where I would be without Him. He is my life.

Ecclesiastes 3 >>
King James Bible

1 To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:
2 A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted;

3 A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up;

4 A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance;

5 A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing;

6 A time to get, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away;

7 A time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak;

8 A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace.

Thank you lord for your word, you lord are my refuge.

thank you...nothing suits me more than THE WORD OF GOD.

I love this verse and truly I have tasted the goodness of thw Lord and look forward to more to come.

Amen !!!!!!!!!!!!! He's alive and I love Him forever even if he doesn't make me feel happy. I want Him.

I love this verse, it give me such hope

Our Rock, our Shield, our Protector, Provider and our Peace . . . Come, reign over my day and let me hide in YOU!!

God, you are indeed good, unless someone has tasted your love, he can't know you are good.

just like human realations, u really can't have something to say about somebody unless u know them. So we who know and love God say, YES, HE IS GOOD coz we have tasted his goodness.
