| My first mychurch entry...yay! |

| Ok so I probably should write at least one blog so that my page wont look so blah anymore. I am new to mychurch the website and I am new to my church, Chesapeake Christian...hahaha. ok that was lame....but its true. I just started going to Chesapeake like a couple of weeks ago and I have to say I am likeing it very much. You know its funny....I just graduated from college. Well its not funny that I just graduated from college but I went to college in Florida so pretty far from home and I have had a few experiences attending a new church alone, knowing absolutely no one. Now that I live with my dad I had to check out a church in the neighborhood and let me tell you going to a new church alone, knowing no one, does not get any less awkward. Thats whats funny (you know like a weird sort of funny....I dont know). One thing I can say though is that even though I am quiet all the time and still feel like an awkward newbie....the people I have met have been so extremely nice and welcoming. Mrs Shirley sat with me the first day and I have gotton to know a few of the people my age, which is always nice lol. So if any of the people I have already met and hung out with take the time to read this....thanks! Also, if I am extremely quiet and appear a bit snobbish (I get that all the time), its because I still feel awkward, despite my best efforts to not feel that way, and hopefully we will get to know each other, and then you hopefully wont wish you hadnt gotton to know me better ;) |
