Heads up people, chances are if you are in a seeker-friendly, emergent church this kind of pscho babble is being pushed on you, it sounds 'great' to those 1/2 listening, to baby-Christians and to the youth, it tickles their ears.  But it is NOT great. These kinds of messages are beginning to include contemplative prayer, yoga-type breathing excercises, meditation, all religious practices from OTHER religions who do not claim Jesus Christ is God, eastern religions.

I do not want the philosphies of 'man' to be taught alongside the scripture in my church. Do not give me pychobabble that makes me question God, my faith and my bible. Do not PREACH it from the pulpit as if it is the world of God, or = to the word. Do not contaminate the message of Jesus with this new age infection to my kids because YOU do not believe the word of God is powerful enough, or relevant enough to reach them. Whats next, well Ghandi has some wonderful things to say, are you going to start teaching his words in my teenagers youth groups? Are you going to start teaching them how to meditate and breath? nooma?

You are on dangerous territory my friend, and you are bringing it into my church, in front of my eyes without permission, brainwashing children in youth groups without first presenting this new age mysticism to me the parent. Not only is this mysticism disgusting by warping the bible and Jesus,  it is dangerous to the believer. Desesensitizing them to the eastern cultish religions and practices in this mushy, unclear banter of a wannabe pychotherapisthippy guy with a bad haircut, you are also laying a track to the One World religion of end times, the church in which the AC and the prophet will rule the world both politically and religously.  By bringing in these kinds of practices into our evangelical Christian churches, you are making it easier and easier to tear down the walls of the Christian church who is to be seperate from the world and its worldly practices. The church is the BRIDE of Jesus, not the YMCA of God's Kingdom, church is not a place to find all kinds of sinful activity, unreprent believers, it is a place to worship Jesus-we are repentant sinners, we are different from the world.  Our pastors should be feeding us MEAT of the Bible, not emotional, whining, 'where is God I don't feel him, let me practice this yoga prayer', 'so I can feel him better' CRAP.  

If you are repenting, diving into the Word of God (not the word of Bell or Warren), praying, going to a good Bible based theological sound church of people who are faithful also, you do not need to understand nooma, Jesus did not teach....nooma.   This is hype, this is generation x telling their parents, YOU DON"T HAVE IT RIGHT, I HAVE IT RIGHT, I KNOW, YOU ARE STUPID and YOU NEVER UNDERSTOOD THE REAL GOD.  THE REAL GOD COMES FROM CONTEMPLATIVE PRAYER, FROM INCENCE, ENRICHING YOUR PRAYERS TO JESUS WITH BREATHING EXCERCIES, I KNOW, BECAUSE THEY TAUGHT ME THAT IN MY SEMINARY SCHOOL CLASSES.   Well, you sent your kid to that seminary school, did you not know what they were teaching them? Well, does it surprise you that that those types of kids who were sent to those types of seminary schools, now populate the country in churchs, and are brainwashing the youth groups of today with these types of teachings? Deceit produces deceit.
