| Thanksgiving 365 |

I hate hearing thanksgiving referred to as "Turkey Day" any more. 5:1 Be ye therefore imitators of God, as beloved children; 5:2 and walk in love, even as Christ also loved you, and gave himself up for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God for an odor of a sweet smell. 5:3 But fornication, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not even be named among you, as becometh saints; 5:4 nor filthiness, nor foolish talking, or jesting, which are not befitting: but rather giving of thanks. One thing I catch myself of often is forgetting to Bless my meal. I'm not ashamed to do it I'm forgetfull. Learning to speak Psalms out lout and singing praises when at home. are a couple of other things I think I could work on. But this thanksgiving number one on my list is the blessed assurance that Jesus is mine. or should I say ours.
3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth on him should not perish, but have eternal life. There's something worth being greatful for. Hear in America I found myself wondering what translation to read. that is something to be greatful. But as thanksgiving seems to be focussed on eating. I'm thinkin' let's not forget Grace. |
