Bravo Jess!! I don't know if I liked the tune. *giggle* There are so many that can relate to this song. When can we buy the single? I liked the progression of the leash, from struggling with it and then asking God to take it away. So like the struggle with sin where we try to handle it and realize how dumb we were and cry out to God for help. There is a group I like to listen to called Every Day Sunday. I like the idea that let's live on Monday like we sing about and say amen to on Sunday! Great lyrics Jess! You have my vote! In the Grip of His Grace, Brent |

| Or kick the beat up and try it with a basic blues progression, 1-4-5, driving, like boogie. You could even drop back to minors on the chorus. Dig up an old track c. 1975-76 called Laundromat, by Rory Gallagher and give a listen. |

Thanks Lara, I just went to Glenn Kaiser's website. Wow! What a compliment! By God's grace, I don't think I'll need a bigger hat ;D Thanks Tropical_Guy. We probably agree, but just to make sure: The point I'm trying to make in this song is this: God's forgiveness comes from the cross - overcoming sinful habits also comes from the cross. If I didn't know what sin was without God's revelation, how can I overcome my sinful habits without God's invovlement? Thanks Woman of Joy. I'm blessed that the song is a blessing =D |
