Wow! And some people think that the Bible isn't real...

Thank you for this blog Tina. I also liked the comment on the video from the person that uploaded it. We need to go back to the Scriptures and stop entertaining God's flock with the lusts of this world.

Bless you!

One of the worst things the church does in NOT talk about sex, IMHO.

How far we have traveled from the true church of Jesus, Paul and Timothy would have been horrified.

Once you start bringing this stuff into your church, from the pulpit, if you can even get your pastor up on the pulpit anymore, they usually wander around the sanctuary like lost sheep in the field, you are opening yourself up to philosphies, indoctrinasions, teachings of the day and period of time.  You get all the teaching about marriage and these type's of subjects from the bible, your pastor doesn't need to preach them from the pulpit. If you are having a 'problem' then its time to study the bible, and receive Godly counsel and prayer.  If that doesn't help you, seek advice from Godly men and women, test the spirits, examine their 'fruits'.

Don't preach this from the pulpit. You will get from God what you need to have a successful marriage when you read the bible, man has a wicked heart, let GOD instruct you.

My feelings are. we should worship God in Church, or Church building. I know he said go forth and multiplie. But there are no instructions in the Bible. More than likely for a reason.
I agree intirely. We have enough sex on television and the internet to confuse children. What these Pastors should be doing is getting this country bad to sanity by banning pornography, homosexual practice which "used" to be against the law. Sex is an act of lave. You don't need sex to love. That is what "belongs in Church in my opiion!! God bless!!

Not if its coming from a corrupted church body and pastor.

Teaching about the purity of marital sex is one thing. But this guy was basically saying that our great sex life should be pointing others to Christ. What is he suggesting exactly? That we use sex as a tool for evangelism? That's hogwash!

The more into sociological issues your church gets, those feel good, itching ear subjects you entice your baby Christians with, the less you are teaching of the bible. The more you message becomes watered down, you stop feeding the faithful and elders of the church, the body, you starve members who want to learn about the word of GOD and replace the MEAT of the bible and the more you feed the carnal Christians who live on baby food, they GAG on meat because they don't want it. They want to hear about their sex lives, what 'others' think about it, what 'others' are practicing, what 'the church body' wants YOU to think about it.

THIS IS NOT OF GOD, reject this sickness in our churches.

GOD teaches you want is expected in marriage, and I certainly don't want my pastor preaching it from the pulpit with children in the room.

This is sinful, it is disgusting, and an pastor who does this should repent and apolgize.

Seek Godly counsel for questions about your sex life, the BIBLE first, PRAYER, then and only then should you go to a GODLY man who has shown his 'fruits' in his own relationships and his humbleness before Gods will, would I ever take such a precious subject to a MAN/WOMAN for counsel.

It was taught in my church, and many were insulted, degraded, and horrified, and there were children and young teenagers in the church.

I would agree that a teaching outside the church is fine, it is up to the couple to investigate the fruits of the speakers, both sides of the issues and pray about it first, consulting God about the issues.

It is NOT appropriate EVER at the pulpit of Sunday Church sermon.

When the CHURCH of Jesus CHrist looks no different then the WORLD, when we no  longer shine in the Lords righteousness, you KNOW something is terribly wrong in the Christian Church.

Why is there no difference in the statistics between the world and HIS church in subjects like PORN, DIVORCE, ADULTRY??? Shouldn't the outside world look into our churches and see the face of JESUS CHRIST? Should we be preaching the full gospel, to repent and turn from sin, that you will DIE in your sins if you do not receive the free gift of JESUS CHRIST this very moment? or should we be preaching to the world how many times a Christian should be having sex and what positions are biblical???

When JESUS returns, HE will bring HIS BRIDE forth from the world.

Is your church the BRIDE? CLEAN, WHITE as the robes HE will reward you with in HEAVEN?

or have you allowed the itching ears of the sinful, carnal Christian, baby Christian, ignorant and curious in your church lead you away from the true CHURCH of JESUS.

Throw this garbage out of our churches, repent! for Jesus is near.

I have a high tower, I trust in the Lord with my whole heart, trying to trust in the Lord in all my ways....I believe all things work together for good.....
I don't waste energy on judgements either way....sound simplistic?  perhaps but it works
I don't think it does well to say what the saints of old would have did...they didn't have the media we have...I agree with DC as well....
and dear sister one could just as well look at your blog and make judgements about where you are coming from and scripturally defend what they are saying.....
you or I or no one else is here on planet earth to do that....He will use is judgements to cleanse and purify His church, and you would be better to be praying for this man,
or others that have offended you rather than rallying up the troops to have a judgement
fest!!!!  Now I need to go and ask for repentance my unpurifed stuff that is coming to the top about the feelings I have about christians like yourself who think they are whiter than the driven snow!!!!

Matthew 4:17

From then on Jesus preached, "Turn from your sins and Turn to God because the kingdom of Heaven is near."

Oh....He didn't preach on the appropriate amount of sex to have in a marriage in a week??

Matthew 6:22

Your eye is an eye for your body.  A pure eye lets sunshine into your soul. But an evil eye shuts out the light and pluges you into darkness. If the light you THINK you have is really darkness, how deep that darkness will be.

So even those Jesus preached to in the temples, 'the religious', can be deceived by their own eyes by what they let into their minds and souls.  Only the message from the bible is clean and pure.  Not the words and philosophies of man.

Matthew 7:15

Beware of false prophets who come disguised as harmless sheep but are really wolves that will tear you apart.  You can detect them by the way they act, just as you can identify a tree by its fruit.

So the wolf is not entering the church as a wolf, he is entering as a perceived Christian, putting himself in a place he can lure others. Those who do satan's work are liars and deceivers, he doesn't stomp in with a devil suit on and bear his teeth.

1:17 But you must remember, beloved, the predictions of the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ; 1:18 they said to you, "In the last time there will be scoffers, following their own ungodly passions." 1:19 It is these who set up divisions, worldly people, devoid of the Spirit. 1:20 But you, beloved, build yourselves up on your most holy faith; pray in the Holy Spirit; 1:21 keep yourselves in the love of God; wait for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life. 1:22 And convince some, who doubt; 1:23 save some, by snatching them out of the fire; on some have mercy with fear, hating even the garment spotted by the flesh. 1:24 Now to him who is able to keep you from falling and to present you without blemish before the presence of his glory with rejoicing, 1:25 to the only God, our Savior through Jesus Christ our Lord, be glory, majesty, dominion, and authority, before all time and now and for ever. Amen.
