I was reading the story again about Jonah & the whale. Jonah was really mad at God for his compassion on the Ninevites. Don't we also feel that way sometimes, never able to understand God's compassion for our enemies those that do us wrong. We take grace & mercy for granted thinking it was only for us and try to forget that Christ died for everyone and every nation. God wants everyone to have eternal life, God does not wish for anyone to perish. We forget that we do not deserve this forgiveness and only by grace can we come before him. God delights when we come before him to worship and praise his name.
19:10 For the Son of man came to seek and to save the lost."
