"Have mercy on me,  Lord, for I call to you all day long.  Bring joy to your servant, for to you, O Lord, I lift up my soul."  Psalm 86:3-4

This is one of the many prayers of David that could be my exact prayer.  Right now, my prayer is that the Lord will give me joy regardless of my circumstances.

And on another note, I am also praying for healing of my ear.  I finally saw my doctor this morning, and it's not a problem with fluid or infection in my ear like I assumed it was.  She is thinking it may be a blocked Eustachian tube.   She has given me some medicine to try for four days, and if that doesn't fix it, then she is sending me to an ENT.
