| Hehe! I remember one Christmas me and one of my brothers were up around five AM, and my parents were ugly and yelling! Thank God they were in bed, or we may have got a wack! I pray that this Christmas will be a blessed and peaceful one for you and your family. Don't worry, you aren't alone. Even Christian families tend to be a wee bit dysfunctional; mine is! lol I love em! Heck, I am dsyfunctional. Bless ya, Jen. Keep a positive outlook like you are. |

Yes Jennifer I am excited for Christmas too! And yes Christmas morning is the only morning you wake up instantly with or without an alarm clock. LOL!
Course anything has to be better than last year when the ole grinch tried grounding everyone on Christmas eve. HUH! It is funny now but Christmas is stressful for everyone, Christians, non Christians, functional, dysfunctional, single lonely people, and families. Yikes I am stressed out just writing that.
I believe miracles happen even on Holland Drive not just 34th street and this is going to be the best Christmas ever for the entire family for oh so many reasons. Let me list a few, maybe you have already received your Christmas presents early but don't know it yet. As a parent paying for Christmas I could only hope to be so lucky. I know, fat chance, but I tried.
* For the first time in three years we are truly blended and bonded in Christs love. That in and of itself for this lopsided brady bunch is HUGE. Thank you Jesus, I never thought we would get here.
* For the first time the pain of split families is healed or 95% healed and won't raise its ugly wounds as harshly around a joyous occasion.
*Your dad isn't in Iraq.
*We have come through many ugly storms and survived, grown and come out better people and Christians.
* You have grown so close to Christ and God. Words can't express how proud we are of you and that fact alone. I know you still struggle with sin and being a teenager, but you have come SO far even from last year. That is the best Christmas present for me, and that is all I need as a mom.
See It is already a great Christmas! and we haven't even Celebrated or opened presents. I concure with Lara, Keep up your great attitude!
Love Becky (the evil stepmom, LOL) |

PS....
If you need any help tying any particular family members up and setting them outside, whether they be old or young.... count me in. I will help you. In fact I know where the duct tape and ropes are located in the garage.
