Copy to The Clipboard

Copy and paste. Don't you just love those shortcuts?
Yesterday, as I was trying to get My Testimony to fit entirely in one blog entry, I used copy, and paste several times with large chunks of text. I had to make several corrections though, because a few different times I had forgotten exactly what was currently on the clipboard before I pasted it.
I got thinking last night about the clipboard. In Windows, the clipboard is like this invisible space that temporarily holds a block of information for us until we are ready to use it. But it is very important to remember what the last thing you cut or copied contained. If you don't remain aware of it, you will almost undoubtedly paste this information in the wrong window. Additionally, if you never paste this information, eventually it just disappears, never to be seen again. Your only option at that point is to go back, and find the original document and copy it all over again.
God's Word is like that for me.
I think that's why blogging is so popular. We are seekers. We take in a plethora of information. But all that information really becomes of no value until we paste it from our mind into someone else's. Speaking the Word also helps to "paste" that priceless information into someone else's life.
If we never do "paste" it. There is a very good possibility it could get lost. Then what do we have to do? We have to go back into the original document (The Word), and copy that information into our internal clipboard all over again.
Conclusion:
Keeping a bunch of information just stacked up in your brain without expressing it in some way, shape, or form, doesn't really do the body good. Let it out and make room for more. If you forget it, don't worry, just go back and copy it one more time.
Get the Word into your mind Copy - CNTL+C (Christ)
Share that Word with others Paste - CNTL+V (Victory)

| Great blog! I also like that button that says "undo"...I wish life had an "undo" button. lol |

Thanks everyone. Your comments are appreciated.
Deb, you hit it right on the head. UNDO is a great command. There are so many, many things I wish I could undo. But can the clay say to the potter. "why have you mad me like this?"
Romans 9:20-21 No, don’t say that. Who are you, a mere human being, to argue with God? Should the thing that was created say to the one who created it, “Why have you made me like this?” When a potter makes jars out of clay, doesn’t he have a right to use the same lump of clay to make one jar for decoration and another to throw garbage into?
While UNDO is a great command in the digital world, REDO is an even greater opportunity in the Kingdom.
Me, I am REDO stage. |

| Great blog! Your statement: "But all that information really becomes of no value until we paste it from our mind into someone else's. Speaking the Word also helps to "paste" that priceless information into someone else's life.", is so true. Perhaps some have never even taken time to think about some particuliar something we may make mention of. |
