"Praise be to the Lord, for he has heard my cry for mercy.  The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in him, and I am helped."  Psalm 28:6-7

As always, my nightly Psalm reading speaks to me right where I am.  That was my reading for last night since yesterday was November 28th.

The Lord has heard my cries of loneliness and he is answering my prayers.  The ladies birthday lunch today was definitely an answer to prayer.  It wasn't an accident or oversight that it was late -- it was the Lord knowing that this week was when I could go and when I needed it the most.

Not only that, but the two parties we are having for work are both going to be luncheons that I will be able to attend (one is for the whole department - the other is just for transcriptionists).

I have felt the prayers of you all these past few days, and I know that I am going to get through this.    I still have a stressful and difficult week ahead of me, but I have my newly regained confidence in the Lord (as I wrote about yesterday), and I have the strength to face it.
