| Let's have some fun! Be creative! |
|
| |
With the pictures below create a short story using each object... I would suggest trying to stay away from Christmas stories to make it a little more challenging. We have a creative God. And since we are made in His image, we are, in turn, creative. Let's see what we can come up with.
Remember... Have fun! |

Ok...why not....
One not so cheery afternoon Raggedy Anne found herself to be very hungry. So she grabbed her coat, and headed out to find something to satisfy her hunger. She recalled a little place that had great fried chicken, but it was 3 blocksaway. With her little stomach growling she trotted along while trying to decise what she would order once she reaches her destination. Upon arrival, she noticed that they were running a special on drumsticks. How she loved drumsticks. She ate till her litlle belly could hold no more. Full and content, she left that restaurant and headed back home. But Raggedy Anne never made it home that day. You see, God loved Raggedy Anne very much. So much that He was ready for Raggedy Anne to come home to him. Raggedy Anne was hit by a speeding locomotive that afternoon. No one but God himself knows why she was chosen on this day, but she was. Life is like that.
Moral of this little story:
Sometimes hungers for things of this world will lead us to a destination that we never expected. Satisfying our carnal flesh is only a momentary satisfaction compared the the day the Lord takes you home. But don't let that stop you from going out and enjoying life. Some say, "I don't want to go outside, there might be a lion on the road" But God says go! |

One day, Mr. Skeens was playing his drums when the thought occured to him that he should join Dave Matthews Band. So He hopped on a train and headed for L.A. When he arrived one of the locals, who looked like a doll told him that DMB was actually practicing in a park that was 3 blocks away. Just before he arrived at the park someone was holding a sign that said "Buy Eric's Hot Coffee and you could win." So Skeens being a coffee drinker bought a cup of coffee called the Locomotive Espresso. When he finished the coffee the bottom of the cup read that He had jus won 2 billion dollars. With the winnings Mr. Skeens created His own band, that had 2 Drum sets in it, and His music went on to bring peace to the entire planet. |

| There was this redneck girl who didn't know what to eat for dinner. So she hopped in her husband's old pickup truck, and drove down to the store. She seen a can of spinach and two olives on a toothpick. "I'll b-e-c-h-a that would be good with some fried bologna. So she went on back home and cooked up a mess of it. |

| Whew!! just what can I come up with...Despite all the thrown toys, dolls and the trains chugging all round my living room, I still found time to praise the Lord for my children...even after tripping along the way..just as sin causes us all to stumble after worldly goods, we still have God to pick up after us and love us all the same. |

Dolly grew up loving to make music. she was always beating on drums and wood blocks. her favorite thing to do was to praise her Lord, Jesus with the sweet sounds that she made. one day she heard about a group of people that were gathering together to make music to the Lord on the beach... Dolly was soo excited and couldn't wait to go!! the beach was much more than 3 blocks away, so she had to take a train there. when Dolly got to the train station, she tried to find the train that said beach, but since Dolly was a horrible speller she thought beach was spelled "bech". becoming quite distrought a kind gentleman came and directed her to get on a train. she thanked him and jumped aboard, after being on the train for awhile she realized she wasn't heading toward the beach and began to get upset. when the train finally stopped she was just going to ask the conductor to help her get on a train to go home, but she heard a sound she had never heard before. it sounded like the man who helped her on the train, saying "just stop and listen Dolly, this is where you need to be." so she stopped, and to her suprise she began to hear the most beautiful music she had ever heard!! again she heard the voice say again "follow it, Dolly, this is where you are supposed to be." she followed the music, it grew sweeter and sweeter. finally she arrived at a building, the music was coming from within. a young woman saw her standing there and invited her in saying, "welcome, we have been waiting for you. come praise the Lord." Dolly was overjoyed. she asked the woman "what is this place?" she answered "this is Redeemer, and we are so happy you have come." Dolly ran to where the music was coming from, it was filling her with such Love for her God. she got to the front of the room where a man placed before her a new set of drums, Dolly jumped on and began playing!!! she has been there playing at Redeemer ever since. the Lord gave her a new name... Holly and taught her how to play the keyboard and now she leads us into glorious worship every sunday!!!!
hee hee i had to throw Holly in there somewhere!!! |

There once was a boy named Trevor who was a youth leader at Redeemer. He helps reveal the building blocks of the Kingdom every day. He loves kids at Redeemer so much that he would not hesitate to give them all dolls or other toys that they would want. He has a deep facisination with trains, so you can see his very often with a train conductor's hat on. (All the kids like to steal it from him.) Best of all, God has annointed him with the ability to play the drums for the Lord. His drums are annointed by God and they will continue to spread His glory.
True story too... :D |

who said anything about violence? Rocky IV was a prophetic metaphor for the toppling of communism. The fall of Ivan Drago was a precursor to the crumbling of The Berlin Wall. |

| Molly the dolly was given a gift, she can drum....she can drum well. Molly the dolly likes to use her gift in her prophetic worship band, they minister to those who travel illegally, vagrants if you will, on the trainsystems. They minister to them prophetically through song and teach them to read and write through use of blocks. Molly the dolly is truly blessed. |
