| On a Rumor! |

I came to New Psalmist with a friend and heard a sermon taken from the book of Ruth about the rumor of bread, bread representing the spirit of God. I had not heard the word of God so clearly along my journey up to that point in this walk of faith. Columbia, Maryland has now been home for 21 years and I've been a member of NPBC for 7 years. I have not become settled yet as there is a new experience to participate in and to learn continuously! I've been empowered to pursue dreams and encouraged to encourage others to grow into their new selves; capable to serve in the Kingdom of God. My comfort is in knowing that I am in the right place, I love my church and my church family and know without a doubt that God rest in New Psalmist and upon my pastor, a man of integrity and character who cares about me and all of his flock. I am a member of the Liturgical Dance ministry, The Becoming a Remarkable Women Ministry, Alter workers and Intercessors. My bags are always packed so if you can not find me at church or home, I'm at the gym, working as a flight attendant, on a leisure road trip or on vacation resting for the next assignment! 17:28 For in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring.
