I am not one to recommend music, (usually because I end up offending someone)
That being said I recently came across two albums that I deemed very I-pod worthy, one old & one new, and I thought I would share those with you
 Ben Harper & the Blind Boys of Alabama, There will be a light
What do you get when you combine a bluesy rock star who is a master of the slide guitar & seven blind gospel singers? An awesome album. I've enjoyed this album start to finish. Ben Harper is one of my favorites anyway and this collaborative effort with the Blind Boys of Alabama lends itself to a great musical treat. Definitely check this out if you are into soulful, bluesy gospel music with a rock edge.
 Wilco Sky Blue Sky
Wilco is another one of my favorite bands and Jeff Tweedy and his crew hit another home-run of an album. The best way to describe Wilco is laid-back rock. If this is your first Wilco experience I am sure you will enjoy it and you definitely need to check out Yankee Hotel Foxtrot which is awesome album in its own right.
