| But I don't wann look like a DORK. |

| 1 By the time the seventh month arrived, the People of Israel were settled in their towns. Then all the people gathered as one person in the town square in front of the Water Gate and asked the scholar Ezra to bring the Book of The Revelation of Moses that God had commanded for Israel. 2-3 So Ezra the priest brought The Revelation to the congregation, which was made up of both men and women—everyone capable of understanding. It was the first day of the seventh month. He read it facing the town square at the Water Gate from early dawn until noon in the hearing of the men and women, all who could understand it. And all the people listened—they were all ears—to the Book of The Revelation. 4 The scholar Ezra stood on a wooden platform constructed for the occasion. He was flanked on the right by Mattithiah, Shema, Anaiah, Uriah, Hilkiah, and Maaseiah, and on the left by Pedaiah, Mishael, Malkijah, Hashum, Hashbaddanah, Zechariah, and Meshullam. 5-6 Ezra opened the book. Every eye was on him (he was standing on the raised platform) and as he opened the book everyone stood. Then Ezra praised God, the great God, and all the people responded, "Oh Yes! Yes!" with hands raised high. And then they fell to their knees in worship of God, their faces to the ground.
This came from "The Message" Bible. I watched a pretty awsome text on Hillsong this morning, I couldn't help thinking, is worship time really the time to be proper. We can paint our faces Blue to go watch the Colts win the superbowl.
But we have to be proper to worship whats suppose to be the love of my life. This sunday will be my first Sunday with the praise and worship team sinse I had the stroke. When every one thought I was as good as dead.
Can I get an Amen? |

AMEN!!! As I recall David danced through the streets nearly naked. Now, I wouldn't suggest you try that in church, but stir it up brother! Worship The Living God with all your might! Blessings, Birdie |

| Dave--I'm not throwing a line at you, brother, honest--but I think dorks are pretty hot. Just let the Holy Spirit lead you in worship--ask Him to, He will. I find it helps me to keep my eyes closed so I'm not worrying about other people looking at me. |

| Dave, we have something in common...I sing on the praise team too...you sing your heart out for the Lord, and don't worry about what people think...you are singing to an audience of ONE. |

| Enjoy the corporate worship time. Amen and amen! Just remember this is not your year to paint your face blue to watch the Colts in the Superbowl because the Pats are the ones from this division going and winning! ;-) Just be sure to worship the Lord with the same level of enthusiasm you would have if the Colts had gotten to go to Superbowl! |

Thanks Joey, Thanks Coreena, thanks pastor aminata;
Considering a few years ago I wasn't sure I'd ever walk again, I think I should be praising God just like I was cheering a year ago when the Colts were beating the Patriots ofr the bears? |

| I worship quite often and not only in church, but when it comes to corporate worship there is something very freeing about it...even the most introverted of people can "come out of their shells" so to speak. Dave, I pray your worship team will come unglued, unplugged, and worship freely as David did... |

| Dave, I pray that God will strike you with the spirit of Joy, and a freedom to reach into the depth of your heart and find the exact things to play. I pray a release of the Spirit into your desire and a sharpening of your mind so you can remember the words and chords as you play. |
